Hello, folks! Did you have a good Easter? I know, little late, but hey, I have been busy, ;) Anyways. God bless, and, enjoy!

Sun shone brightly, pouring down upon everything in the valley. Mountains towered into the sky, and clouds drifted in the brilliant blue.

A child sat alone, on the top of a hill. His back leaned against a tree, the bark scratching at his blue shirt. The valley stretched on and on, until it hit a lake, and he'd even been told once that there was an, 'ocean', out there. Someone had come through Ealdor, proclaiming powerful Words with a foreign passion. Words of forgiveness and love, words of wrath, of justice, and of mercy.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."

Merlin pondered at the words. Did he have a future, a destiny? Where? Was it beyond the mountains, past the valleys, hills, and fields? Sometimes, he wondered if he was a monster. If he was destined to fail. If the legacy left on the world would be one of failure, and secrecy.

But then, on the mountain, he saw it.

The Light that gave peace, and beauty. Hidden in plain sight. And were people so blind, that they tried to run from the Love that was in the very air they breathed, and the ground beneath their feet?

The man who had come professing had spoken of Jesus.

Could this 'Jesus' love a selfish, broken, and afraid child? Was He real? Was it a lie told to the world to give false hope? Was He just there to condemn?

Blue eyes shone with unshed tears. Small arms were wrapped around his knees, and his head was turned towards the sky.

"Jesus?" he queried, nervously worrying his bottom lip. "They say You're real, but I can't feel You here. Do You hate us?" The wind blew softly, bouncing through the forest filled chasm. "Are You watching our pain? Do You care? Who are you?"

"I AM."
