Summer Singing
Disclaimer: i do not own the song or Get Ed i do however own the idea to combine the two.
Ol'Skool whilst taking his morning walk around Progress Park, which looked at its finest in summer, started to hum one of his all-time favourite song and quite absent-mindedly started to sing along
"I believe for every drop of rain
that falls,
A flower grows,
I believe that somewhere in the
darkest night,
A candle glows.
I believe for everyone who goes
astray,
Someone will come to show the way.
I believe,
I
believe."
Two elderly ladies stared at the strange old man in skateboarding gear singing such an old song and stated to walk away happily listening to the old man's voice start on the next verse
"I believe above the storm the
smallest prayer,
Will still be heard.
I believe that someone in
the great somewhere,
Hears every word."
Ol'Skool started to realise, at this point, that he was attracting quite a following and still continued to sing
"Every time I hear a new born baby
cry,
Or touch a leaf or see the sky.
Then I know why,
I
believe."
Every time I hear a new born baby cry,
Or touch
a leaf or see the sky.
Then I know why,
I believe.
Ol'Skool turned around and bowed like an ages-passed performer on a stage and realised why he and the others had to succeed.
