Hey Everybody! With Season 4 of Lab Rats quickly approaching, I thought I'd throw out an idea for a story I've been tweaking and revising for several weeks now. When I learned of the sudden change in setting toward the end of Season 3, I'll admit I was a little suspicious. I thought that the writers were going to soil the concept of the show and completely ruin the series as an entirety. But after watching a few episodes set at the Bionic Academy and being introduced to several new faces, I couldn't be more thrilled. The change of setting is sensible, connecting the plot of Season 3 and expanding on it in an entirely new and innovative way.

Just a head's up, this fanfic is set in an alternate universe, which means the events following "Rise of The Super Soldiers" have not occurred. Instead of being introduced as mentors, the Davenport kids (Adam, Bree, and Chase) are being enrolled at the Bionic Academy as students. They will be taught by instructors and have to work alongside their peers. They'll make friends, discover new bionic abilities, and uncover who among them is seeking to destroy the academy from the inside out.

Just a few warnings, storylines/issues (such as bullying, romance, death, etc.) will be explored that haven't necessarily been in the mainstream series; some content may be too much for young readers. READ AT YOUR OWN CAUTION. Also, OCs will be featured in this story; before you turn away due to that reason alone, give the story a chance. Each original character has a face-claim/portrayer that allows you to actually visualize what that character looks like. I assure you, that these characters are worth your time and I hope that by the end of this story you'll at least fall in love with one of them just as you have with the Davenport family.

ORIGINAL CHARACTERS…

S-2/DANA (portrayed by Marie Avgeropoulos)

Dana has a fiery personality, letting all her fellow bionic brothers and sisters have a piece of her mind without hesitation. She is a fiercely loyal friend, but if you get on her bad side you'll regret it. Once you get to know her you'll see her true nature that seems to be always under wraps.

KNOWN BIONIC ABILITITES: Pyrokinesis (Primary), Electrical Manipulation, Enhanced Senses,Geo-Leaping and Wall Crawling.

S-7/DUNCAN (portrayed by Jake Miller)

Duncan is everyone's designated big brother in the academy, being full of compassion for his fellow bionic brothers and sisters. He constantly cares for each and every bionic on and off the battlefield. When not working his butt off on missions or training sessions, he's often stirring up trouble with Adam around the academy. He's the life of the party and a huge flirt.

S-14/ELLIOT (portrayed by: Luke Bilyk)

Elliot has often lived in Sebastian's shadow as a part of his posse, being told what to do and when to do it. He wants so badly to shake off the image everyone has given him and to carve his own path, despite the potential of ridicule being thrown his way. When he's not playing the guitar or bass guitar, he's drawing or immersed in a textbook or two.

KNOWN BIONIC ABILTITIES: Energy Manipulation/Constructs (Primary), Telepathy, Geo-Leaping, Molecular Kinesis, Energy Transference, and Energy Blasts.

S-17/MACIE (portrayed by: Ashley Benson)

Macie is a sweet and down-to-earth girl, making the perfect match for Bree as a roommate. She has a love for knowledge, finding that when she's reading or learning that she has the world at her fingertips. She's very discrete about her smarts though, not wanting to cause herself social suicide. She enjoys gymnastics, gossiping, shopping, and watching the latest teen dramas on TV; all while maintaining a perfect GPA.

KNOWN BIONIC ABILITITES: Super Intelligence (Primary), Shape-Shifting, Phasing, Force Field, and Duplication.

Disclaimer: I do not own the Disney XD series Lab Rats, if I did this story would certainly be a reality and there'd be a Season 5 already in the works. I only own my OCs and this alternate reality.

Without further ado, I present to you The 100 . . .

CHAPTER ONE: STARTING ANEW

Adam's POV

"Hello and welcome to the world's first Davenport Bionic Academy! Each of you is here for a reason that reason is to discover who you are as individuals. You're no longer soldiers, you're students. " Mr. Davenport spoke into the microphone, his hands gripping the sides of the plexiglas podium. He occasionally glanced down at his written speech, to help keep track of his place.

I'll admit, as soon as Mr. Davenport took to the stage, I couldn't help but to start to lose interest. I could already tell what was about to drone on and on about. the same things he always drones on about: his brilliance, his striking black hair, his white porcelain skin. It was expected really; even I knew that our father wouldn't fail to eventually bring himself up; especially when standing up in front of an audience. He lived for that kind of stuff.

I couldn't really follow along with what Mr. Davenport was trying to communicate with us; words just don't really do wonders for me. I prefer as few words as possible; I usually let my fists do the talking whenever I go on a mission or whenever Chase is being his usual dorky self. But, hey . . . That's just me.

All I knew is that I couldn't be more eager to get out of the auditorium and into the training room; that's where I knew I belonged. Sitting around watching someone give a grand speech wasn't my idea of a good time; whether that someone be my father of not.

Glancing over at the two seats to my right, I looked to see what my little brother and sister were up to. Bree's face was illuminated by the bright light of her smart phone's screen; I thought her eyes were going to fall out. How cool would that be? Anyways, I noticed that she looked up from her phone for a split second and rolled her eyes once Mr. Davenport made some comment about how he had been immediately inspired to open the academy after discovering that Krane's former soldiers had nowhere to go . . . yada, yada, yada. Chase shared a similar distasteful expression, slouching in his theater seat with his hand cuffing his forehead while begrudgingly listening. They both seemed totally disinterested; that made three of us.

I soon found myself glancing around the expansive room, trying to find anything that could keep me preoccupied, my right foot tapping on the ground. Bree immediately nudged me with her elbow, put her phone away and leaned in to tell me something. Chase leaned in as well, eavesdropping.

"I can't believe Mr. Davenport is taking all the credit for establishing the academy; he was just fine with shipping them all off to separate government facilities days earlier. We're the ones that stopped him. If it weren't for the two of us, they would've been long gone. I mean, Chase wouldn't have bothered." She scoffed and looked back down at the phone on her lap, noticing that a notification popped up on her pink polka dot screensaver.

"That's right." Chase interjected, popping his head over Bree's shoulder; grinning to himself. "What? You didn't think I couldn't hear you? Bionic senses ring a bell to anyone?"

"Eavesdropping, really?" Bree asked quietly as she turned to face her little brother, her voice rising ever-so-slightly

"Look, those kids could still very well be a threat. They worked for Krane, y'know the guy who almost took over the entire planet? They can't be trusted, Bree." Chase spat back, his eyes narrowing slightly.

"They were under the control of the Triton App, it wasn't their fault. Remember what S-3 said? He said he couldn't remember anything." She narrowed her eyes in return, sitting back in her seat in a huff.

"Woah, woah, woah . . . Guys let's just relax alright?" I turned my head to my right, focusing my attention on the both of them. I couldn't help but get involved; I am the big brother after all. What I say should go, right?

The two warring siblings shot each other heavy glances and brought their gaze back to the stage.

The auditorium rose into a thunderous applause as Mr. Davenport exited the stage; student after student rising to his or her feet to give their new headmaster a standing ovation. The three of us rose to our feet, complying with the crowd by applauding Mr. Davenport; I even let out a loud distinct holler to let him know I was cheering him on even though I hadn't paid attention to a single word he said. Bree and Chase weren't showing it, but I could tell they were still proud of Mr. Davenport. Well, Bree probably was.

Mr. Davenport approached us shortly after his grand speech, stopping every so often to shake a student's hand; even going as far to autograph a few students' foreheads without their consent. He thought he was a hotshot.

"What'd you guys think? Am I awesome or what?" He asked with a wide smile across his face, his hands outstretched dramatically.

"Sure. Chase replied rather dryly, rolling his eyes.

"What's wrong, Chase? You've been like this ever since I introduced the concept for the academy." The tech mogul's smile dropped almost immediately after hearing Chase's reply and he folded his arms.

"The problem is Mr. Davenport, that you're taking all the credit. If it weren't for us saving the world and convincing you to give these kids a chance, we wouldn't be here today." Bree interjected, her arms folding across her chest as well.

"No, the problem is that we're giving these kids a chance in the first place. In Alien Gladiators II, a Morph Base took in a group of young defenseless Zarkanians into their ranks and trained them to fight for good. But just when they let their guard down, the young Zarkanians struck the Morphs and took over the base." Chase rambled, seemingly growing excited at recalling the sci-fi movie.

"You really are a geek, aren't you Chasey?" I asked teasingly, pulling him into a headlock only to mess up his hair. He reminded me of a porcupine in the moment.

"Cut it out, Adam!" He shouted and pulled away, glaring at me while he fixed his hair.

"Chase, I promise everything will be alright. Give these kids a chance; they're going to be your fellow classmates. This is a chance for you guys to fit in, to not hide the bionic side of you. Isn't that what you guys want?" Mr. Davenport asked, raising an eyebrow slightly.

"What I want is to go home, this is ludicrous." The youngest bionic shook his head and looked off.

"Wait, what's ludicrous mean?" I asked curiously.

"Ludicrous: foolish, unreasonable, or out of place as to be amusing; ridiculous." Chase quickly retorted, still looking off begrudgingly. I swear, Chase is like my own personal dictionary; all I have to do is ask him a question and he'll give it to me. Nerd.

Mr. Davenport shook his head at his youngest son and sighed; deciding it was best to spend his time more wisely then to pointless squabble with his children. "You guys are going to like it here, alright? It'll just take a little getting used to. You can get your room assignments in the recreational area, Leo offered to be of assistance. He's actually on board with this idea!" He shot his tongue out immaturely, exiting the door as quickly as he could; shoving a few students out of his way in the process. Ah, typical Mr. Davenport.

My mouth gaped open once I stepped into the recreational room, it was a huge. To my left were a bunch of bionic kids playing various games: ping-pong, air hockey, you name it! To my right, televisions flashed and I could hear the sound of frustrated gamers shouting as they battled against their opponents beside them on the large blue sofas sprawled throughout that side of the space. It was heaven and I couldn't wait to school every last one of them.

Noticing that the line I was standing in for registration was shortening, I peeked over the shoulder of the few people in front of me to see Leo instructing a kid in the front on where his room was. As I approached the table, Leo was grinning from ear to ear.

"Name?" He asked teasingly, looking down at a blank registration form; ready to write down whatever I told him.

"Oh, that's easy! It's Adam." I replied with a wide smile and laughed.

"I had an inkling that it was!" He chuckled and began to fill out of the rest of the form for me; knowing full well I wouldn't bother. I mean, my handwriting is like chicken scratch.

"What's an inkling?" I asked, tilting my head slightly in confusion.

"It's a good thing you're the muscles of the operation, Adam." Leo joked and looked down at his tablet, trying to pick up my room assignment. "You're going to be down the corridor to your left, room number #306 and your roommate is S-7."

"Wait, I get a roommate? Sweet, I wonder what she's like." I grinned and practiced my selfie-face; weirding out Leo in the process.

"Yeeeah, don't do that to me EVER again." My step-brother replied, earning a chuckle from myself.

Just as Leo was about to speak up once more, a bionic teenager around my age geo-leaped into the room and went into a fighting stance; wiping sweat off his tan forehead and letting out a pant. His brown hair was spiked in a fashion similar to mine and his dark brown eyes darting everywhere around the room as if he was looking for someone. Seconds later, another bionic figure geo-leaped into the room and quickly threw a punch at the other; this particular bionic caught my eye. She was gorgeous, even with her features contorted in anger; her deep blue eyes narrowed at her opponent in determination and her brunette hair bouncing full of life.

The first bionic quickly grabbed the girl's fist before it made impact with him and twisted her wrist, causing for her to let out a scream. The guy obviously had super-strength; I was taken back a bit to see another bionic with my ability. Sweet, maybe now I can actually spar with someone who actually has a chance against me. I thought to myself.

Everyone in the room quickly took notice of what was going on and formed a circle around the two, watching their fight with anticipation; almost everyone except Leo and I were cheering and shouting. I was still deciding whether or not I should break up the fight.

The blue-eyed girl winced in pain and threw a punch with her other arm at her opponent, this time her first burning with what I thought was fire. Quickly, I sprang to my feet and broke the two up; receiving the punch that was meant for the other bionic. I immediately stumbled back and held onto my cheek; feeling an unbelievably deep burn.

"What the hell? I had S-7 right where I wanted him." The blue-eyed girl yelled, now directing her anger towards me.

"What? I was trying to stop a fight; if Mr. Davenport found out about this he wouldn't be happy. You understand?" I replied sternly, looking the girl directly in her eyes.

"No, not really." She replied coldly and folded her arms.

"What's your name?" I asked curiously, taking my hand off my cheek and looking at my hand for a second.

"I'm S-2, but since your beloved Mr. Davenport insisted we get new names; I decided on Dana." The girl replied matter-of-factly, still being able to slip in a sarcastic tone at the word 'beloved'.

"Well, Dana . . ." I started, my gaze softening towards her. "What was this all about? What caused you to want to attack S-7?"

"Uh, I go by Duncan now." S-7 chimed in, receiving a harsh glance from Dana.

"Wait, S-7? DUDE, WE'RE ROOMMATES?!" I exclaimed, totally forgetting about the situation at hand. Without even having to tell instruct him, the two of us did a chest bump and shared a hearty laugh.

Dana rolled her eyes and cleared her throat, asking for our attention to be brought back to her. "Look, your little roommate hit on me earlier." She commented angrily.

"And . . . ?" I asked.

"What? You're hot, can you blame me?" Duncan commented simply, grinning from ear to ear.

"Just enjoy your pig, _." She paused, waiting for me to tell her my name.

"Adam." I replied simply, holding out a hand for here to shake.

". . . Adam." Dana finished, her features softening for a moment before turning into a scowl at Duncan.

As Dana left the room, Leo returned to his station and the crowd of students had long dispersed from the quarrel; finding it was no use standing around if nobody was going to fight anybody. I let my eyes trail after her, watching her long lean legs strut as she left the room. She shot me one last glance with her beautiful blue eyes and then vanished out of my vision. I felt my heart fall when she left the room, a feeling I hadn't felt in a long while; I didn't even mind anymore that my cheek was still burning. I was impressed.

"Now that's a girl that can throw a punch." I whispered to myself under my breath.
