A certain chipmunk with glasses sat on the table at the garden of the school, since it is lunch break time. He started to of think of a new move. Yup, you got that right. He's playing chess all by himself. Simon moved a piece and think again.

A purple clad walked passed where Simon is, then she noticed that someone is there.

She adjusted her glasses and squint her eyes.

When she got a better sight, she gasped softly when she realized it was Simon.

Jeanette jumped to the table and heard Simon mumble something. She become curious and asked, "What?"

Simon shrieked and jumped, when he turned around, he became more nervous.

"H-Huh?" Simon asked confusedly. The chipette giggled and said, "Nothing. What are you doing, by the way?"

The blue clad calmed a bit. "Oh you know, just playing chess all by myself since my brothers are doing their own business." He replied her. "You are playing chess?" Jeanette lit up. "Can I play too?"

Simon blushed underneath his fur. "Su-Sure…" He trembled because of nervousness.

The chipmunk, rearrange the board and they started to play.

"Checkmate." Simon said.

Jeanette stared at the board blankly before turning up and smiled brightly. "You're good!" She exclaimed.

He smiled, "Thank you."

"Up for another round?" The chipette asked him while rearranging the board. "Sure." He answered. They played again.

"Checkmate." This time, Jeanette won. "If I move this…then, no…I'll just…no…okay, you won." Simon sighed. Jeanette giggled again.

RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINGGGG!

"I'll see you tomorrow, then?" She smiled while packing her things. "Sure." He smiled back. They exchange goodbye's then turn to opposite direction. Jeanette walked towards where her sisters wait. "Where have you been?" Brittany asked her.

"Well, I just played chess with Simon." The purple clad said dreamily. "You what?!" Eleanor exclaimed while stopping their tracks.

"Jeanette! Don't tell me you forgot what Ian said about them?" Brittany said.

"He seems good, for me." Jeanette sighed.

Brittany scoffed while Eleanor smiled, then continued their way towards their next subject.

'At least I have a chess-mate now, I don't like to always beat my sisters!' Jeanette giggled at the thought.
