Hiya peoples! I got really bored, so I started pondering on how complex Princess Zelda is. She's so much to so many and stuff.... so here's a poem about it! Hope you like it, and please read and review. I suck at poetry usually -- I hope this one at least makes the cut.
Um... By the way, Zelda isn't mine.
You know you don't belong here. Somehow while the guards were chasing you, you managed to scramble inside the castle. The paths dwindle, and soon the only option is up: The stairs. You take them two at a time, hearing clanking footsteps angrily consuming just as many. Now, a long hall with and endless number of doors awaits you, and praying to the goddesses for luck, you claw open the brass knob and dive into a random portal.
Nayru must have been listening, for ironically you find yourself in the library -- dark and musty with several shelves and shadows. Crouched in a corner, you wait for the stampede's clamor to diminish, and decide to pick up a book. The title was once in gold leaf, but it was rubbed away long ago. Clueless, you flip through the pages, until the faded portrait of a young woman fills your vision. Intruigued, you read the page to its right:
"Once upon a time, in a distant land, there lived a beautiful princess.."
What is it like.. to know thy destiny?
Fated to be the warmth of the sun
And the glow of the moon
Delicate Pillar
Could thou be such a symbol?
A beacon of hope and strength for thine people
Guiding them through the current
Thy very name a legacy that would
Endure the constant flow of time
Something pointy taps your shoulder and you hear "Was it a good read?" You look up into the sneer of the burliest of the guards and know, down to your bones, you're in deep cucco poo.
