I recently started writing fan fiction; I'm also a budding short story author. I LIKE FICTION! The beauty is that ANYTHING can happen and ANYONE can exist!
I've gotten complaints, I've read complaints and that's all I'm getting from this site! It's incredibly annoying and degrading to see people act the way you do!
OCs, Original Characters. People make them up, do you know why? Because we want to live in a world away from the horrors of our own!
Why deal with the crushing economy, the growing complexity of technology and threats of earth shattering war when we can escape in a world where a bomb is deactivated by a pair of scissors, aliens are our heroes and you can learn kung fu by the time your six? It's absolutely amazing that the comic writers gave us this world to play in so LETS PLAY!
You don't have to write your stories with Robin, Wally and Atom only; you don't have to write your stories with John Smith, Mary Sue and White Hero either! You can mesh and BALANCE them!
Have Zatanna meet Joe Doe who can control tech, I don't care but c'mon find a balance and quit bitching about everyone's stories! You don't like it, then quit reading it! You don't have to tear down people who work hard to write these stories! You don't have to write paragraph on how an OC likes Kaldur, my god it's FICTION!
Now I will say this once from our dear characters in Young Justice
Wally/Kid Flash: Hey as long as I don't lose my good looks I don't care who I fight or where I end up
Dick/Robin/Nightwing: As long as I know how to have fun and can land a quadruple somersault, pair me up with whoever!
Conner/Superboy: I wear the S for a reason, keep me as a hero and do whatever
M'Gann/Megan/Miss Martian: Keep my powers and understand parallel earths or not, I am at my core a Martian
Artemis/Tigress: Yes I have a criminal father and sister, but I can hold my own so chill out!
Kaldur-ahm/Aqualad: I am measured, but I can fight as well, do not leave me out in the cold if you can help it
Justice League: We are responsible and understanding, more importantly alternate dimensions or not, we are one unit
OCs: We can love other team members OR NOT, allow us our own freedom, but we only exist for Young Justice!
Author: Relax, keep the key traits, keep balance, no one is forcing you to be here so if you don't appreciate the hard work we make, don't bother coming back!
