"Leo." A breathless whisper blew softly out of Nico's lips as he stared at the sleeping owner of the name he uttered. The boy was lying beside him, snoring lightly and holding onto Nico's arm.
Nico's hand reached out to push a curly bang off of Leo's forehead. He was startled when Leo suddenly moved at his touch, but calmed down when the boy didn't open his eyes or showed any sign of consciousness. Nico smiled fondly at the Hispanic boy, placing a loving kiss on the crown of Leo's head.
"I'll keep you forever. And I will never let you go because I love you too much. You're so special to me, Leo. I hope I am to you, too."
As if in response, Leo opened his mouth and uttered Nico's name. But the Hispanic boy didn't speak any more than that like Nico both feared and hoped. It was the first time Nico ever said his feelings about Leo out loud so when Leo actually spoke, Nico felt his face burn hot. But much to his relief (and disappointment), Leo slept as soundly as before.
Once again, he placed a kiss on Leo's head before sighing. He closed his eyes, at the same time, held Leo closer to him. Unknown to Nico, Leo unsonsciously made a smile.
