Hey people! Just felt like writing something short and sweet. And that's what friendship is, right? Don't be afraid to call it yaoi! I don't really mind…I just hope people won't hate me for this…
Oh boy…it's my first time writing something like this…WISH ME LUCK!

Our Friendship
Fuji didn't know what he was thinking when he blurted out his situation with Yuuta to Tezuka one day.
But if Fuji had done something wrong, it wasn't his fault. Tezuka had come up to him one day and just plainly said, "Fuji. Don't be afraid to tell me anything." And he just walked away. It was just like that.
So when Fuji suddenly talking about Yuuta being sick in the hospital with leukemia, Tezuka didn't appear surprised. Tezuka saw Fuji in a state he never thought he'd see him in, devastated, and looking as worthless as he possibly could.
He just stood there, silent all the way through Fuji's words, seeing and feeling him tremble and shake. Tezuka may not have appeared surprised, but something inside him was just screaming; he didn't know what to do.
So, at the time, Tezuka just held out a tentative hand and placed it gently on Fuji's firm yet delicate shoulders. It was a strange feeling. Tezuka felt that if Fuji didn't have the support he needed, he would just shatter into a million pieces, and Tezuka wasn't sure he could catch all of them.
Gruadually, Fuji stopped shaking altogether and he closed his eyes, feeling warmth run through his veins.
Unsure of what to do next, Tezuka nudged his glasses up higher on his nose and took in a deep breath.
Fuji suddenly spoke up, "I'm not crying."
Tezuka replied, in that same stoic voice, "I know."
And the two stood there for a while, waiting for the moment to pass by slowly.

"Tezuka!"
Tezuka turned around, a blank look on his face. "Good morning," he said, stopping to wait for Fuji to catch up.
Once he did, Tezuka noticed that there were absolutely no signs of him being unhappy the other day. There was just his smile, shining radiantly in the morning light.
"Good morning, Tezuka."
Tezuka grunted, giving a small nod, and they started walking to school together.
Their actions were so strangely normal that Tezuka began to wonder if the incident the day before actually happened or not.
"Ne, Tezuka?"
The latter twisted his head to face the tensai, slightly startled. "Yes?"
"Friendship…it's a good thing, right?"
Tezuka stopped walking again. Fuji looked at him questioningly. "Tezuka?"
For a moment, none of them spoke.
Then, Tezuka's lips parted. "Yeah." And he smiled a tiny bit.
Fuji grinned back and they continued walking together to school.
