A/N Behold, the amazing Ballad of Captain jack Sparrow. We had to write a ballad for English class, so of course being the obsessive POTC freak that I am, I convinced the members of my group to write about Jack.
The Ballad of Captain Jack Sparrow
Once there was a merchant ship,
The captain was Jack Sparrow
Oh how he loved the Wicked Wench
But her fate would soon be narrow.
Beckett sunk the sorry ship,
And her captain was distraught
He struck a deal with Davy Jones
And from the depths the Wench was brought.
Captain Jack sailed his ship,
And soon became a pirate.
He renamed his ship the Black Pearl
And nothing could rewrite it.
One fateful day, first mate Barbossa asked him for the bearings
Foolishly, Jack gave them up and Barbossa led a mutiny.
Marooned upon an island Jack was,
Only a pistol with one shot had he.
He managed to escape,
The pistol still unused
On the backs of two sea turtles
He soon loaded up on booze (rum).
Barbossa and Jack's sorry crew,
Found the Aztec gold.
But little did they know their folly,
For it set a curse upon their souls.
Without the Pearl, Jack was lost.
He found his way to Port Royal.
He met a whelp named William Turner
Who proved himself as loyal.
They set out to find Jack's bonny lass
Who went by Elizabeth Swann.
She had been captured by Barbossa,
And they sailed from dusk 'til dawn.
Finally they came across a cave,
On the Island of the Dead.
"We will lift the dreaded curse"
The evil Barbossa said.
They barged in the cave,
Jack and the whelp,
As Barbossa tried to kill them,
Elizabeth screamed, "Help!"
Jack shot Barbossa as Will gave his blood,
"I feel… cold," Barbossa gasped,
As at last the curse was lifted,
Against Jack's chest Elizabeth was clasped.
Jack took back his precious Pearl,
And set a wedding date.
On the deck, they were wed
And the whelp became first mate.
A/N LOL!!!! Hope you enjoyed! Review please!
