Chapter one: Whispers from the old times.

Unknown location, out of time and space.

Balls of strange glowing lights were all across what could only be described as a large room, without a ceiling, floor or walls. An infinite space, with the lights slowly drifting in no particular direction.

Sometimes, a man would appear and shove them into a different direction, so two lights wouldn't collide. The man sighed. He was certainly strange, from a human point of view anyways. He wore a pink coloured coat with a hood which covered most of his face.

As he shoved one of the lights into a different direction, the man grew a beard within a few seconds. He flew upwards towards one of the lights lightly tapping on it's service.

The light extended slightly, showing him an entire universe filled with lights. As he looked at, some of the lights went out, and new ones appeared. He tapped it again, as it turned back into another ball of light, floating into nothingness.

"You know, I don't know how you do it, staying sane in a place like this. I mean, I have been traveling from place to place, and I don't even stay sane most of the time." A voice said, before another strange man appeared into the view of the hooded man.

The stranger smirked a strange smile. He looked human, but his teeth and eyes said otherwise. His eyes were glowing an emerald-like green, the pupil strangely stretched into an almost diamond shape, which gave him an inhuman look. His teeth looked more like those of a cat then those of a human.

The man's skin was a British white colour, which would explain the way he dressed. His clothes looked like he either came straight out of either Oliver Twist or Wonderland, or maybe a strange mix of both, for he wore a purple coloured top-hat, as well as a suit with the same colour purple. The shirt underneath his suit was definitely more a mos-green colour, and he also wore a bow-tie with a bloodred colour, as well as l a brown coloured bag over his shoulder.

The hooded man sighed. He knew the man well, sadly. "What are you doing here? I told you never to come back here." He said, as he looked towards the light from where the stranger came from. "You didn't destroy another one, right? What's that, the forth already?"

The stranger just smirked. "Oh, Timy wimy mate. No, that universe is still in tact, as far as I know. Hey, I've been hearing some...odd rumours. Someone, I am not saying who because I'm not it for once, is traveling throughout the multiverse, getting into all kinds of shenanigans."

"Shenanigans?" The hooded man said with a small chuckle. "That's an understatement."

Suddenly, the hooded man shrank down to a childlike size. The stranger chuckled. "Still doing the timy wimy thing? You know that's getting old. Literally."

The hooded man sighed. "You and your dad jokes. Now, please leave me al-"

The hooded man interrupted his sentence, grabbed for his chest, as he collapsed to his knees, but not before turning into a teenager.

"Oh, having trouble breathing?" The stranger slowly made his way towards the hooded man. "For you see, I've learned something today. Oh, look at that, 2 references within a minute, I'm on a role!" The stranger laughed loudly as the hooded man looked at him in fear and confusion.

"What in Elemy's name did you do!" He yelled, before his features became skinny, the meat disappearing from his bones until only a skeleton was left. Despite that however, he was still alive.

"Oh, I didn't do anything." The stranger said, as he leaned towards the fallen god. He smirked once again. "And thus, the reign of time has ended."
