It had been five years since Cory, Eric, Shawn, and Topanga left their
hometown of Philadelphia for New York City. Cory and Shawn finished college
at NYU. After passing the bar, Topanga started working at a law firm while
Cory became and architect. Eric's love of children and knack for being a
people person led him into a career as a social worker. Shawn started
writing for a New York literary magazine, and was planning on having a book
of poetry published in the next few years. Cory and Topanga managed to buy
a nice apartment together, and three years ago had their first child, a
daughter named Anna.
Angela spent a year in Paris with her father. After she finished her third year of college, she moved to New York. She also finished college at NYU. Shortly after her return, she and Shawn moved in together. She became a photographer at a big New York magazine, but that was just to pay the bills. She was really an art photographer and had been shopping her work around to different art galleries in New York with the hope of gaining enough popularity to get a book of her work published and sold.
After graduating from Pennbrook, Jack and Rachel joined the Peace Corps. They spent a year together, and during that year managed to rekindle their flame. Upon returning to America, or more specifically to New York, Rachel attended medical school, while Jack attended the New York Culinary Academy. After graduating he opened a restaurant with himself as head chef. When she finished medical school Rachel became a pediatrician. They too moved in together.
