It was just supposed to be another day, with the 11th Division's soldiers coming in and out of the infirmary doors. Cursing, drinking and abusing the healers as they pass by with broken bones and bruised faces.

It was just supposed to be another day, where the captain of the 4th Division and head-doctor, Unohana Retsu, would pass by the rooms and walk down the hallways just to check on both her patients and her trainee's-- maybe even take care of a few certain things that usually caused anyone to either run away, or pee in their pants.

It was just supposed to be another day of people wanting to be healed and taken care of.

Sadly, it wasn't another day-- infact, it could even be considered special, since the captain of the 11th Squad, Zaraki Kenpachi, came by to check on a few selected members. Yachiru was, of course, going around causing some mischief that the long-braided shinigami could tolerate.

She knew that today would be different.

Especially since Kenpachi was practically throwing his aura everywhere, causing both her patients and healers to faint.

Excuse her.

"Zaraki-sama! Stop hurting these people, I'm getting tired of having to heal them repeatedly." said Unohana as she gave the eyepatched shinigami a smile he could never forget.

Oh, it was on.

Later, though. Zaraki knew it would be later when he felt Unohana tug his sleeve after that smile.

She was a simple woman who helped people, not just out of service, but out of what she really is: a kind person. Scary ( to all the little wimps out there, thought Kenpachi ), but kind, nevertheless.

"Che. Fine, woman." was all that Zaraki said before moving out of the room. People could breath again, and stand even. The large captain's reiatsu was so strong, it made people crumble like broken down furniture.

He somewhat knew that he would deal with the woman outside-- afterall, he was practically dragged out.

Although, he could only think one thing.

Damn you, mistletoe.

It wasn't even Christmas.
