Dancing

Shining eyes

Sparkling smile

Flowing white dress

Fluid music

She's beautiful

Though out of place

Dancing at dinner

He smiles slowly

Standing up

Mindless meal chatter stops

Though the music continues

He takes a step towards her

She halts, surprised

Glancing down

Then looking up hesitantly

They're eyes meet

He quickens his pace

She turns away

Before turning back

And there he stood before her

A crooked smile on his face

"May I?"

His hand held out patiently

She nods

While gazing into his eyes

She takes his hand

Her thoughts slipping

She looks up at his face again

Mind going blank

She smiles

Cheeks turning red

His teal-blue eyes gleaming in response

A slow symphonic song begins

They swayed in time with the music

And she loses herself in the dance

Time passes

She felt slight movements in her hair

"Hmm?"

She felt something warm

Her cheek against his chest

Their hands intertwined

His lips in her hair

"Like kissing sunshine"

It made him feel something inside

"Don't stop, don't stop"

They both chanted in their heads

As the music near ended

She started to draw back

Surprised when strong arms stopped her

"Please?"

She paused before leaning forward

Pulling him close

Her face in his chest again

Like before,

Her body went tense

As his hands framed her face

He tilted her head up

To look into her shining cerulean eyes

Then

The space between them

Lost in seconds

His lips upon hers, waiting so eagerly

Her hands moved on their own accord

Having nothing to do

Up into his silver hair

She lowered herself down

Back to the ground

Toes aching

From remaining lingering pain

Of standing on them

To reach his hungry lips

Though it seemed so

It had not ended

His head now tilting down

And his hand resting upon her blushing cheek

He broke away

"Thank you"

She wore a puzzled look on her face

"For your dance"

She didn't reply

Only stretching again on her toes

To give him another kiss

That trailed down his neck to his collarbone

She smiled yet again

Laughing softly her face pressed over his heart

Then they both turned

With their hands still connected

To show the unbreakable bond
