When Santa Visits Jasper Park

It was Christmas Eve, and Humphrey, Kate, Wildfire, and Madi were fast asleep in their den. They were dreaming of the day that allows the wolf packs to get together to celebrate the day of joy, happiness, and magic. That day was Christmas.

Soon, a peculiar sound woke the four wolves. At the entrance, they saw a note which read:

Dear Humphrey and family,

I have been watching and admiring you and your pack. Your actions have shown that you have a great spirit. If you follow this pathway, you will find a Christmas gift that is too big to carry. I hope you like it.

MERRY CHRISTMAS,

Saint Nick

The four wolves look outside and see a pathway that is decorated like that of a candy cane. They have only walked a little ways when they saw Justin, Sara, Winston, and Eve. Apparently, they also got the note.

They continued on and met up with Garth, Lilly, Caesar, Star, and Tony. They exchanged greetings and continued.

A few miles later, they started hearing music being played in the tune of "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer." When they reached the end of the trail, they saw Santa's sleigh, the nine reindeer, including Rudolph (he's my favorite of Santa's reindeer), elaborate decorations on the sleigh and on the trees surrounding it, and of course, Santa Clause.

All of the wolves stood in amazement. Santa has left them amazing presents before, but the eleven wolves all agreed that he has gone overboard this year…

Santa walks up to the wolves and says to them, "I told you it would be too big to carry."

*for those of you who haven't noticed, Santa is using Christmas magic to communicate with the wolves*

Humphrey replied to Santa, "You got that right."

A moment of silence passes before Wildfire says to them, "Why are we standing here like rocks?"

"You're right," Rudolph replies, "Let's party!"

Soon, everyone was dancing, singing (or howling), just carrying on without a care in the world.

An hour later, Santa says to the wolves, "It's been fun, but we need to be heading back to the North Pole.

The pups replied, "Aw…"

"But before we go, there's something we want to give you," Rudolph says.

He hands each wolf a bone wrapped with a red ribbon. They looked like regular bones, but when Madi licked it, she exclaimed, "Hey! It tastes like peppermint!"

"My latest creation," Santa replies. "It started as a regular bone, but I have dipped it into a liquid solution that allows it to taste like a candy cane."

"Cool," Wildfire says.

After the wolves bid Santa goodbye, Santa and his reindeer take off and head back to the North Pole. Afterwards, the wolves return to their respective packs and celebrate the remainder of Christmas day…
