This starts with a family reunion and turns into something else. Don't be confused. First attempt at a reunion! Tell me if this works.
Hermione sighed as she looked at the pink 'You're Invited!" card scented with Chloé's rose perfume. Another family reunion with her bratty cousins and stuck up aunts and uncles. She had to attend it this time because
a. She didn't go for the last 12 years and
b. She didn't have an excuse this time.
"Love?" Draco Malfoy emerged from the huge double sliding-glass doors. "What's wrong?" He asked as he sat down on the love seat with her. He saw the card in her hand and read it. "Hey, at least it's at the Viper's Resort. Remember? Father gave it to us as a wedding present."
She sighed, "Weren't you working? And isn't your business trip to America on the day I'm supposed to leave?" She said bitterly.
"You know I can't control that, love." He said gently.
"Do you even realize you'll be missing my birthday and our engagement?!" He froze. Oh right, THAT.
"Look love, I'm sor-" she cut him off.
"Nevermind, it's not like you would care." She walked off.
She refused to see him for the next few days. Draco couldn't blame her. He's been too busy with work lately and had ignored his wife for the whole month. He had brushed her off any time she tried to talk to him, to get him to take a short break, but he would just ignore her. Well he's been working on this big project that would bring millions of dollars into their account, muggle wise and wizard wise.
On the day of the family reunion, two of Hermione's cousins, Lisa and Elena were talking outside of the hotel while waiting for the rest of the family to turn up.
"Did you know that the buck tooth Hermione is coming this year?" Lisa said.
"Can she even afford it? She probably doesn't even have a job." Elena sneered.
"Probably living in her parent's house, using her parent's money and still can't find a boyfriend." Lisa answered.
"Did you know the owner of this hotel is THE Draco Malfoy? I can't wait to make him mine!" Elena gushed.
Everyone was waiting on Hermione, her parents were there, but not her.
"What's taking her so long?" Kylian muttered, looking at his watch.
"Probably had to walk here." His twin sister Clémence replied. "Because she can't afford a car."
Hermione's parents Jenna and Marcus Granger stayed silent, knowing that the statement was false and that she probably had more money than all of them combined.
Within seconds, a Acura TXL drove up into the VIP section of the parking lot. The busboy dropped their bags and hurried to recieve the person who was currently stepping out. Her wavy brown hair was glossy and silky and reached her waist. She had sunglasses with a leopard - print frame from Bulgari Flora. Her white blouse with a short black skirt that reached mid-thigh complimented her lovely hourglass figure. Her black high heel boots from Jimmy Choo and black leather purse from Prada were perfect accessories matched her attire perfectly. Who was this woman?
