Viva Forever:
It had always been so.
Screams of terror, the light of flames, a man's laughter. It will always be so.
Wolves' howling, flesh ripping, a woman's evil smile.
So why did it still hurt?
A heart full of hate, eyes full of betrayal, a newborn's cry.
Irony, It was. The day his mother was betrayed and died, the day he was born. He remembered it so clearly, that woman, standing next to him.
Every sound seems to dim, as her breathing slows.
Both were mocking the scene of death before them. It still boiled his blood.
At her last breath, she said only two words.
That was his one purpose in life now, those two words.
A sharp cry as a woman doubles over in pain. A young boy was all too eager to grant his mother's final request.
Little did she know this was how he would always remember her. Vicious. Betrayed.
Calmly spoken, as she always spoke.
He never hated his son, but dislike was always there. But he must really be thanked. The sword was an excellent cover-up.
"Kill him."
I am Sesshomaru, lone lord of the western lands. At my own and my mothers honor, I will kill the symbol of my father hate for me, and his love of my mother's death. Even if it takes a thousand years, I will destroy Inu-yasha.
