The connection to those of his blood endured, so
Razien, the Demon Lord of Battle endured, still
not part-taking
in eating human flesh. His children still lived, her children still
lived, so would his
promise.
His sense of their existence,
came sometimes with other insight, flashes of their too short
lives.
He saw their battles, the wild joy of their hanyou but
still too human blood discovering challenges,
opponents and he
felt their wonder at their children.
It had been 700 years
since he had met her, made his promise, and his stomach caused the
earth to quake. He felt the sudden death of of one of his
children. It was a completely unexpected
death, the sacrifice to
save a child. Then the son was resurrected...
