What happens when you think you know everything about the person you love, but then new secrets and feelings start to come out into the light? What happens when you want more even though you know this isn't the time to want it? Well that's exactly what this is about. Calleigh and Eric share some secrets later in this story, and they both want something more than ever.

Chapter 1

He drove down to the beach because he knew where to find her when she was upset. He walked down to the shore. The water was hitting her feet and the moon casted a ruby like glow over her skin. The dim light that the community decided to put up, was hitting her blond hair in that certain way to bring out the blond. He walked up to her and put his coat around her shoulders, and enclosed her in a tight hug.

"You know," he started, "you shouldn't be out here, you'll catch a cold." No longer than a minute after he finished his sentence he heard her make that sigh. He had been hearing that sigh a lot more than ever lately. It was her 'I want my life to mean something more', sigh.

"Cal, we've been over this," Eric started; knowing that he was treading in shark invested waters. "I know Eric, but I know you and I both want to be more and to have more."

Calleigh looked at him. "I know we both do Cal, but with work it wouldn't be fair to raise a child now and why don't we wait until we get a house together." Eric tried to reason. Truth be told he was just afraid.

"Eric we have a place, mine. Your apartment is small, and the lease is almost up. Move into my house, Eric. Horatio would give us time and he wouldn't be mad. He probably already knows. We can deal with Stetler just like we always do. Eric we can do this. Can we at least try?" Calleigh knew her time for having children was coming near to an end.

"Yeah we can try babe. You know I want children, and we all know I want them with you, but I'm afraid Cal. I mean a kid, that's big…that's huge." Eric sighed.

"I know but we can do it Eric, we're good parents, good people. And I know you'll be a great father." Calleigh smiled.

"Come on sweetie lets go home." Eric opened her car door and helped her in, she was wearing heals and the hummer had a big step up. He closed her door and got in the car. Turned the key in the ignition and headed home.

2 Weeks Later

"God Cal, you look exhausted!" Ryan exclaimed as he bumped into her in the break room.

"Yeah I am, Eric and I are trying." Calleigh started and almost dozed off. "We're trying to have a baby." Calleigh yawned.

"God girl you getting any sleep lately?" Alexx walked in and saw her sleepy face.

"Not really, Eric and I are trying to have a baby!" Calleigh said sleepily but yet excited.

"Oh good for you sweetie, but please, for me, get some sleep." Alexx hugged her and patted her on the back.

"Yeah I'll try. Thanks Alexx." Calleigh let out a yawn.

"Ms. Duquesne, go home. Now." Horatio told her. All she could do was nod her head and start heading out.
