A/N: I honestly don't know where this came from.
Hope had been having girl problems, and had asked Snow for advice.
"Hope, I think it's time you and I had... the talk."
Hope's eyes widened as he smashed his hands over his ears. "La la la la, I'm not listening, I'm not-"
Snow pulled his hands down. "Not that talk."
"Oh." Hope calmed down.
"No, no. We're going to have a talk about women, and the crazy things we do when we're in love with women."
"I don't like where this is going."
"Just pay attention." Snow pulled a leaf from a tree. "Love is like a leaf. It flutters in the breeze, carefree and happy. Then, it lands on a puddle. It sits there until the puddle evaporates, and then..." He shook a fist in the air. "It becomes the earth."
Hope blinked at him.
"You want something else?" Snow asked.
"Yes please."
"Okay. Love is like..." He watched a person on a bicycle ride by. "A bicycle. As long as someone is pedaling, it can go on forever. Until that person gets tired, then they stop for water, and then their friend calls and asks if they want to go to the movies, and what happens to the bike? Huh?"
"...Try again." Hope called from a couple feet away.
Snow sighed. "Love is like a Ferris Wheel."
"I thought you hated Ferris Wheels?"
"Do you want my help or not?"
"Sorry," Hope smirked.
"Love is like a Ferris Wheel." Snow continued, waving his arms in the air. "It goes up and down, and up and down, and UP-"
"I think I get it!" Hope interrupted.
"You do?" Snow's face lit up.
"Yeah. You're saying that when you love someone, it's hard to control. If you're careful with it, then it moves with you. But if you abandon it, it eventually comes back to haunt you. And that even though it can be painful, it's eternal and goes on forever. Right?"
Now Snow was blinking at him. "Okay. Sure. Let's go with that."
Hope sighed and smiled. "Thanks, Snow!"
"No problem. Now, we can have that talk!"
"NO!" Hope cried, running off.
"Aw, come on! We can talk about the birds and the bees, and the pandas and the alligators... oh, and those pointy fish thingies!"
