A/N: Hello reader (or hopefully readers), this is my first fic, so I hope you enjoy it.

School Days: Rewind
Prologue
Darkness.
"Huh?"
Only darkness. Emptiness. Loneliness.
"W-where am I? What's going on? Sekai? Kotonoha?! Anyone??!!"
In this emptiness, where there is nothing, there is also everything.
"Is this death? Hell? Is this what I deserve for all the wrongs I committed?"
I don't know, is it?
"Who's there?! Show yourself!!"
Why should I?
"Umm, well..."
A soft chuckle echoes in the dark emptiness.
You have no idea do you? Your questions are good though. But shall I answer them...?
"Um..."
Maybe another time. For now, however...
Blue feathers fall from above, eventually hitting what looks like... the surface of a lake? A pond? Ripples appear from where the feathers stop. Two figures are standing on the water, their backs to each other. They both turn and reach out their hands to...
RING!
Itou Makoto wakes, immediately sitting up and panting as though he's out of breath, and sweating. He looks down at his body, nothing nothing out of the ordinary. He gets up out of bed, heading for the bathroom.
"That was some dream I had..." Makoto says to himself, thinking back onto the nightmare the clock woke him from.
Flashback
He looks at the message on his phone, it reads "Sorry," then nothing but white spaces. "Sekai, what's up with the text? Why not just say it to my face?" Makoto wonders. He sighs and starts scrolling, not noticing the door opening behind him. He finally reaches the end of the message, "Goodbye." He suddenly feels a presence behind him and turns around, only to see Sekai looking at him with cold eyes. He feels a sharp stabbing pain in his abdomen.
Flashback End
Makoto shivers before continuing to prepare for the day.
A/N: Hehe, I know, it's short. But hopefully I'll be able to write longer chapters soon. Also, this fic will start out kind of slow. But please bear with it, it'll get better later on. At least, I think it will. Anyway, if your wondering what exactly is going on, or you confused, things'll start revealing themselves eventually. Anyway, I won't be able to update often because of school and stuff, so.... I think you get it. I'll be busy. But I'll try to get another chapter up soon, I'll also try to make them longer.
