I cannot get enough of KittyXRogue and personally think there's too few stories of them. So after reading so many stories of Rogue getting control I figured why not.

"Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Rogue, Happy Birthday to you." Everyone sang gathered around Rogue as she blew out the candles. Happy Sixteenth Birthday Rogue was written across the cake made for her by her brother Kurt. After the cake was cut and served they moved on to presents.

Shades form Scott, a sweater from Jean, out of all the gifts the only meaningful one was a hand knitted scarf from Kurt. That is until Kitty's came along. She handed Rogue a small rectangular box. As Rogue removes the lid she finds a beautiful green pendant.

"Kitty this is beautiful. It must a cost a fortune." Kitty just beams at her.

"Not really a friend of mine made it for me. It does something special." Rogue just sits looking at it in awe.

"What does it do?" She asks wanting to know what the beautiful trinket could possibly do.

"It magically suppresses your powers as long as you're wearing it." Rogue's eyes go as wide as dinner plates as she puts it on.

"But how can you be sure it works? There's no way you could've tested it."

"Well why don't we test it now?" Before Rogue can respond her lips are captured in a passionate kiss. No one says anything as they're frozen in pure shock. Rogue shares this shock but as it subsides she begins to melt into the kiss. As Kitty drapes her hand around her neck she instinctively wraps her arms around the smaller girls waist. Kitty unexpectedly swipes her tongue across Rogues bottom lip begging for access which she is happily granted. As they pull away Rogue is still shocked but can't help but smile. They hold each other, foreheads touching, Kitty whispers to her. "I've wanted to do that for so long." At this point everyone had left out of discomfort. "Rogue I know this is sudden but I can't hold my feelings in anymore. I want to be your girlfriend. I want to be with you. I love you." Rogue just looks nervously at the ground.

"I don't know Kitty. This is all so fast. I like you I really do. But we're already different enough. I don't even wanna think about what might happen to you." Kitty took Rogues face in her hands.

"Rogue nothing anyone else says matters to me. The only opinion I care about is yours." She pulls her into a gentle kiss. Not as fierce as before but just as passionate. "Please just give us a chance." They look into each other's eyes

"Okay Kitty, I'll give us a chance. But there are two conditions." Kitty's face brightens up at the new prospect.

"Okay what are they?"

"First I'm your girlfriend and you're mine." She nods rapidly.

"Deal, What else?" Rogue gives her a cocky smirk.

"We go up to our room right now and make out for a while." She gives Kitty a sly smile which is instantly returned however blushingly. They stand as Kitty takes the southern girls hand and they ascend the staircase to their dwelling. Fingers lacing together to symbolize the new unbreakable bond now formed between the two.

So what did ya think? This is only a one-shot but I plan on making it into a series of them. Let me know what you think. I've been considering also doing AmaraXTabitha, RahneXJubilee, and maybe JeanXRogue (I won't do a Storm pairing. I just never liked her a sa character. She had no real personality).
