Genki looked over at Holly who was making some stew. He'd only been back in the monster world for a few hours now. He realized a long time ago that he loved Holly. He never told her when he was younger, but wasn't sure he could now. After all he was only half-human now and she still didn't know about that. Why would she ever want to be with him now, assuming she even felt the same way.

Scene change of Holly comforted him in her arms that night by the fountain, as he told her his story. She couldn't help but feel sorry for him. He couldn't help but want to be with her. He finally told her he loved her and to his surprise she loved him too. They went back to camp and slept together that night.

Scene change to Genki thinking alone, remembering all the girls who had been after him in high school, in his world. He was fairly good looking in his mind and understood that they like him. But he never really liked any of them. They were popular and girlie, but lacked personality and intelligence, most of the time. Then he thought about the one girl he did like. Holly, she had intelligence, personality, and kindness. She was beautiful; in his eyes she was a princess.
