Hiya, BlazBlue fandom! I bet you didn't expect me back so soon! Well, to be honest, I don't know about this one, but hey, it was fun to write. Reviews are very, very appreciated, as always.

"…So…"
"Hm? What is it, Tsubaki?"
"Oh, er…nothing, I guess…"
"I see…"
The dialogue of the past half an hour had been…sporadic, to say the least. For a couple of people with such an obvious mutual attraction, they were absolutely terrible with a simple date.
Tsubaki shuffled awkwardly and looked at the sunset. "…It's a very lovely sunset."
Jin adjusted his glasses slightly and nodded. "Very."
"…" Tsubaki didn't know what else to say, so she simply scooted a bit closer to him on the bench, hoping for at least a neutral reaction. She was more than a tad surprised when Jin did the same. "Um…Jin?"
"Yes?" Jin looked down at her questioningly.
Tsubaki almost looked away, red as a tomato, but managed to keep looking him in the eye. "I…I enjoyed this whole evening. I wasn't too sure about a date, and I know you weren't either, but it was nice."
"I'm glad you enjoyed it, then. It was a fun evening, I thought." Jin seemed to come even closer to her. "We've known each other a long time, and we've been close, but…"
"Jin…" Tsubaki pulled herself up, her face mere millimeters from his.
Meanwhile, in a bush roughly ten yards away, a pair of young girls watched the scene with the utmost fascination.
"Hey, Makoto…?"
"Yeah?"
"…You owe me ten dollars. I told you they would kiss."
"…Oh."
However, the couple sitting on the bench had several things going through their minds, and the childish bet between two schoolgirls was most certainly not one of them.
