"Dyl, where are you going?" Massie Block commanded from her seat at their lunch table.
"To the bathroom, for a make-up check," Dylan mumbled, tossing her napkin on her practically licked clean plate and darting off.
"Whatever," Massie said, turning her attention to her other best friends. Claire sat across from her, acting twitchy.
"Kuh-laire, are you okay? You've been acting like a total LBR since you got back from LA."
Claire continued biting her nails and darting her eyes back and forth. No response.
Massie rolled her eyes and looked at Alicia Rivera. "Isn't she so weird?"
"Yeah, but you're the one who let her in. Why don't you kick her out?" Alicia said, stuffing another California roll into her perfect mouth. It was the last one on her second serving.
"I have to pee, I'll be right back." She grabbed her bag and stood up gracefully.
"Check on Dylan while you're in there, she's taking forever."
After a while Kristen Gregory finally made it to their table and sat down beside Claire, who was still biting her nails.
Massie's attention was drawn from their secretive conversation to Alicia, who was shuffling in a sad replacement to running back to the table from the bathrooms.
"Ehmagawd, Mass, Dylan was throwing up in there!"
"What? Is she sick?"
"I don't know."
Massie, suddenly aggravated at why so much was going wrong lately, snapped at Alicia.
"I'm surprised you could run with all that extra weight on your stomach. Where'd all that come from?" Massie said, regarding the new pouf Alicia had been sporting.
Alicia scoffed. "Fuck off, Mass," she said, heading back to the bathroom to check on Dylan.
Massie looked back to Kristen and Claire who were still having their own little conversation.
"Uh, excuse me," Massie said to them. They looked up to her and stopped talking.
"What are you talking about over there?"
"Uh, nothing," Kristen said, looking at Claire.
Massie huffed. What was going on?
Basically, Dylan is bulimic, Alicia got pregnant because she's a slut, Claire got into drugs in Hollywood, Kristen is setting her up because her parents deal to make money, and Massie's just a bitch.
