Chapter 1: The Phone Call
Emily's POV:
I was walking outside, when I heard I stopped."Hello?" I response. That's weird. I continued to walk outside until I reached the training grounds. I grabbed a bamboo stick and started to hit the training my phone rang."Hello?" I asked in to the speaker."Hey,Emily. It's mom." My mom said."Oh hey mom. How is it going?"I asked her."It's going great. Emily, sweetie, I have some news." she said. Uh oh. Whenever my mom calls me "sweetie", it's never good."What's the news?" I asked."Your mentor called me this morning, and he said that he was kicking you off the team. I'm so sorry, honey." That's when it killed me. "How could he do that?" I asked. " I don't never said why." she answered."Mom, I'll call you later." I said."Ok, I love you. Bye." she answered. "Bye." I said. Then, I hung up. I then bursted to tears. I can't believe that I'm getting kicked off the team. I wonder the others will take it.I guess I'll have find out.
