I do not own Fairy Tail at all.

Team Natsu was out on a mission in a nearby town. They were told that they'd need to defeat some monsters fro, a nearby forest. It was honestly really simple, but being the strongest team of Fairy Tail, they destroyed the forest. As it was late, they stayed at an inn for the night. Lucy decided to travel around for a while, exploring the place. She entered a magic shop, aimlessly browsing the items when something caught her eye. A celestial spirit key in the display case at the counter. However, what was odd is that it wasn't gold, silver or bronze.

It was red, a ruby red key that she has never seen before nor read about. Her eyes sparkled with excitement and practically ran forward, stopping at the counter where the owner sat. "Hi, mister, how much is the red key?" The shop owner looked at it and said it was about 100 000 Jewels. Lucy looked shocked for a while before performing her 'womanly attraction' on the store clerk, reducing the price to 25 000 Jewels instead. A very happy mage skipped out the shop back to the inn, a shiny key clinking with the rest of the key loop.

The next day, the team took the train back to Magnolia, resulting in a vomiting Dragon Slayer. In the end, Natsu was knocked out by Erza, limp on Erza's lap. Once they reached, they made their way back to the guild. Lucy remembered what she got last night and pulled her keyring out. The keys' chimes against each other got the group's attention, making them turn their heads in curiosity while entering the guild. "Look what I got last night! Isn't it cool!" She huffed, showing the group the red key to the group.

Two of them looked at the key in interest while the other paled drastically. "I've never seen any red celestial key before. How intriguing," Erza said. "That's because those red keys are very rare." The Master said, walking forward and stopping in front of the group. "Not many people know or have these keys: The Chinese Zodiacs. They are even rarer than the golden Zodiac keys and not a lot has been recorded about them."

"Hey, Lucy. Can I see?" Natsu asked, a fake smile plastered on his face. The blonde noticed the fake smile and interrogated the dragon slayer, "Why would you want to see it? You didn't hold any form of interest in the keys before." Natsu's smile became more strained, then he dropped it, a scowl appearing on his face."It's something that you don't need to know. Now give it to me!" When Natsu tried to take the key, Lucy dodged and ran away. This caught the attention of the guild. When the pinkette was about to catch her, she yelled.

"Open! Gate of the Chinese Dragon!" What happened next surprised everyone. Under Natsu, a red magic circle appeared and he disappeared. The guild was silent for a while before chaos ensued. "AHHH! Natsu's gone!" Happy flustered. "No, he's up there." Loke, who came through his own gate, said. The guild looked up saw a flying figure. The figure landed gracefully, revealing themselves to be a beautiful pink haired girl. The girl crossed her arms and looked at the group lazily. "I'm Angus, nice to meet you."

"Where's Natsu? What did you do to him!" Erza threatened, summoning a sword and pointing it at the mystery girl. The girl, in turn, sighed, " this is why I didn't want this little secret to come out. I'm Natsu."
