Timeframe: Alyssa losses her Elephant crystal and while searching for it she runs into Toxica & her cohorts. Zen-Aku locates her afterward and helps her…but that is where the similarity ends…

"Little girls shouldn't walk into the forest alone," Toxica states as she appears behind Allyssa.

"Give me back my elephant zord!" she demands as she blindly attacked the duke orgs.

Within minutes Allyssa had been beaten back by the two duke orgs and was falling backward-down the mountain.

Meanwhile Zen-Aku was wandering in the forest below pandering over his last battle with the Animaria's current rangers. Where had he faltered? He should have been able to destroy the rangers in their initial battle but he had paused which had allowed the red ranger to gain control of the situation.

Crash.

Zen-Aku immediately went toward the base of the nearby cliff. What was that? He pondered to himself as he stopped dead in his tracks at what greeted him there. "The tiger ranger," he mused aloud as he quickly took in her injuries as well as the retreating voices of Toxica and her mate Jindrax. He was still wondering what to do with her, when he heard her cry out in pain. Zen-Aku sighed out loud as he realized that he couldn't turn his back on the injured ranger. A Duke Org he may by-but he still yielded a sense of honor and duty. He couldn't kill her while she lay wounded and he couldn't leave her here-for he didn't know if the other rangers even knew if she was here. So that left only one choice: care for her injuries himself.

He removed he cut off a small section of his legging; he left the fallen ranger in order to locate the necessary herbs that were located near the river's mouth. After gathering them he placed them in the torn legging piece and then placed it carefully around her wound. He then cut another piece of his legging off and placed it in the water, wetting it. He folded it and placed it on the tiger ranger's forehead; hopefully she wouldn't get a fever.

As soon as the wet compress was on her forehead it seemed to jolt Allyssa out of shadows and back into the light. When she opened her eyes she glanced around the surrounding area.

"You're awake," a voice said from behind her. Allyssa twisted her body around and screamed.

"Quiet!" Zen-Aku demanded as his over sensitive ears begged her to be quiet. "I was not the one who had hurt you!"

"You didn't?" Allyssa stopped screaming as suddenly as she had started.

"No!" he replied as he knelt down to ensure that she hadn't disturbed the makeshift bandage on her leg. "Jindrax and Toxica did, remember?"

"No," she stated softly as she watched the wolf warrior play the part of nursemaid. "Did you help me?"

Zen-Aku paused as though he was embarrassed to be admitting to such a thing. "Yes," he bit out as stepped back toward the forest.

"Can I ask you a question?"

"Fine."

"Who am I?"
