Disclaimer: If I owned Maximum Ride I would be on the beach instead of writing fanfic! I'd be having a margarita too even though I'm under age. SHUSH. Don't tell my mom.

Enjoy!

Fang Pov.

I didn't like Max at all….no I didn't. I mean how could I? She's my sister! The gut wrenching feeling I had when I saw her kissing Sam was just brotherly protectiveness. Right? I just don't want to see her hurt that's all.

"Fang?" Someone called surprisingly close to my ear and without turning around I knew it was Max.

How had she gotten that close to quietly?

"I'm going flying for a while okay?" She continued, her breath tickling my ear.

"Got another date with Sammy boy?" I teased, with fake happiness.

I mean…Who was I kidding? I was caught in Max's brilliance, shocked by her beauty, and in the biggest crush I ever had. No scratch that. The only crush I ever had. And she liked someone else…

"We're not really dating I tell you. I'm just helping him with his algebra." She replied.

"And besides with you madly in love with Lissa, the red headed wonder, why can't I find love for myself?" She continued cheekily. "And besides, you're coming too. Lissa wants to stare at your gorgeousness while Sam and I do our work. Iggy can stay with the kids tonight, because I still don't trust Anne."

Max thinks I'm gorgeous was all comprehended.Just for that I'll go.

Max Pov.

He came! He came! So that means he really does like Lissa. I can't believe it…well actually I can. Who would like me anyway…Lissa was much prettier, with her golden locks that can challenge Rapunzel's (is that how u spell it? ).

While suffering through my dreadful ordeal I also realized that no matter what Fang said he really listen to everything Lissa said. Every time I looked over he seemed genuinely engrossed in what she was saying. Laughing and smiling along.

And here I was barely listening to Sam's question.

Finally I stopped taking peeks at Fang and Lissa turning my full attention to Sam. After all I had promised to help him with his algebra.

Fang Pov.

While flying back home I snuck a peek at Max. Her mind seemed to be on other things. Stilled I tried to make a conversation.

"How much algebra did you and Sam really do? You guys were laughing and having a ball and last time I check algebra wasn't fun."

"Well I depends on who your teacher is." She replied all too mischievously, "Or in this case, your study mate."

Ouch. That hit me like a slap in the face. I bet if I had Max as a study mate I'd love algebra. What guy wouldn't? She's smart, funny, helpful, beautiful, courageous,-

"Hey' She said interrupting my thoughts, "did Lissa tell you about the semi formal dance? It's 9th graders only! And we get to haves dates. Sam even asked me. Leo and Sean also asked but they're both jerks! I'm just glad I get to be a normal girl for once!"

She finished sounded surprisingly like Nudge. Who knew Max was so big on talking? I thought staying silent.

"Well, anyway…I just though maybe you could go with Lissa…and it could be kind of a double date thingy? Iggy too. So a triple date. I don't want to do this by myself!"

"It's okay. Yeah Lissa told me the same the same thing though not in a way that sounded so much like Nudge." I tease though my mode was exactly the opposite.

My comment was rewarded with a painful blow to the head, but everyone body knows love hurts!

Next Week was going to be wonderful indeed…..please note the sarcasm here!
