"And that's the story of how I saved the day from the Darkness, turning it into the Kindness, and became a hero. The end." Timmy concluded with a proud smile before he flicked off his flashlight to turn on his lamp. The moon and stars outside the young boy's bedroom window shone brightly in the clear night sky that covered all of Dimmsdale.

Twelve AM, midnight. The time that all the residents of the city should be fast asleep in their warm and cozy beds, dreaming whatever dreams their minds could whip up. However, at the Turner house, things were a little different. Instead of sleeping like everybody else, Timmy, his fairies (who were disguised as cats), and his loyal canine companion Sparky were still wide awake.

"Whoa. That was an incredible story you told me, Timmy. Is it true, did you really get your own cool statue for your bravery, and finally kissed Trixie?" Sparky asked his best friend in the whole world excitedly. He, Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof sat on his bed happily munching away on their favorite foods:dog treats, pudding, chocolate, and of course brownies.

The boy sat the flashlight down on his nightstand beside the fishbowl with a grin. He lay back on his pillow, wiping the sweat off his brow. "Yep, I'm so glad I won't have to go through that ever again. Also, best kiss ever."

Wanda nodded in agreement while she polished off a scrumptious milk chocolate candy bar. "You and me both, sport. Definitely one heck of a ride too. I'm just glad it's all over."

"Much better story then the one where I was born. Ugh, I'll never ask about my birth story ever again." Kitten Poof shuddered, the unpleasant memory still fresh in his mind. Dropping the brownie onto his plate, he poofed it away with his rattle. He was unable to stomach another bite.

"Well, there goes my appetite."

Timmy chuckled at his god brother's reaction. "That's how it all went down, Little T. Believe me, it was no fun on my end either with Cosmo throwing up on me so much. But at least I have an awesome little brother to spend time with. Whew, all this storytelling sure is making me thirsty. Better go downstairs and get some milk."

Sparky saw just how tired and parched Timmy was, and poofed into the kitchen to pour up a glass of milk for him instead. He wouldn't need to head all the way downstairs himself. He then reappeared moments later with some milk and cookies.

"Here ya go, kiddo. I even added this crazy straw, and grabbed a few chocolate chip cookies from the cookie jar. Um, while I was getting your milk, I accidentally spilled the rest over the countertop and the floor. Don't worry, I cleaned it all up before anybody noticed." He confessed, his fuzzy cheeks a little red with embarrassment as he gave little Timmy his bedtime snack.

He took the cookies and milk from Sparky while laughing at his silly confession. "Thanks, Sparky. You really are the best dog ever. No worries, my dad can get some more tomorrow right after he blames Mr. Dinkleberg as usual."

"Anything for the Chosen One. I'd rather have you be my owner and best friend then crazy Mr. Crocker," Sparky piped up, licking Timmy playfully.

"I can't believe he almost took over the world with your Fairy-versary muffin for your one year anniversary of keeping Cosmo and Wanda a secret."

"You knew about that, Sparky?" Wanda asked him with an raised eyebrow.

The little fairy dog nodded. "Uh huh, Timmy told me about a lot of his past adventures he had with you guys. He also told me about traveling through television with a magical remote, the time the pixies tried to take over his summer vacation, and making a secret wish, which only got him in trouble with the Fairy Council."

"Now that's an abra-catastrophe!" Cosmo said jokingly. He, Timmy, Sparky, and Poof all laughed at his clever joke. Wanda, on the other hand just sat on her godson's bed in silence, suddenly looking rather down about something. Timmy soon noticed this, his laughter began to die down completely once he saw the sadness in her beautiful hot pink eyes.

"Wanda, is everything okay?"

Once they heard Timmy speak, Sparky, Poof, and Cosmo turned their attention towards him and Wanda.

"Did Cosmo insult you again?" Sparky asked, then shot a glare at the little green cat, with both paws crossed over his chest.

"She told me all about it, Cosmo. Seriously, dude, what's wrong with you? Start treating your lady with more respect."

Poof shook his head at his father, who lowered his head in shame. "Not cool, Dad."

"It's not that this time, hon. We had a long important talk about it the other night, so he no longer says those things about me now. Timmy, I'm really sorry that Cosmo and I turned into scary fairies just to get back at you for reading Poof some scary bedtime story. Along with everything else we've done that was bad. Like sending you to an alligator pit because I was so overprotective of my baby. It was a harsh punishment, I know," Wanda apologized, feeling rather guilty of her past actions.

Timmy wrapped his arms around the pink cat with a forgiving smile. "It's okay, Wanda. I forgive you. I should had read him a better book, and taken him to the park like I was supposed to. I'm really sorry I can be so selfish and immature. Guess that really does make me the worst godchild after all, right?"

He sighed sadly. "Who am I kidding? I'm just some selfish buck tooth loser nobody, not even my own parents or godparents could care about. Chloe's way better then me. Everybody seems to love her way more."

Wanda gently pulled herself away from Timmy so she could look him in the eyes.

"Absolutely not. You may be selfish and immature at times, but you've also done so many good things no other godchild, or Chloe have ever done before; Like you've broken the biggest rule in the rule book, so Cosmo and I would be set free from Mr. Crocker. You're not the worst godchild ever at all. In fact, The Hall of Timmy proves otherwise. Chloe can and never will replace you. I promise, we'll still love you very much with all our hearts. That will never change."

He smiled a tearful smile and hugged Wanda a little tighter. "You're right, Wanda. Thanks for protecting me from Vicky. Everything you guys have done helped make my miserable life much happier than it once was. I love you guys so much, and really can't imagine it without my special fairy family."

Teardrops slid down her pink feline cheeks while they embraced one another. "You're welcome, Timmy. That's why we're here after all."

"Chloe may be rather sweet and kind, but she's never done any of those things that you've done, bro. You're the Chosen One! Our hero who saved the world! How can she possibly top that? Or the fact that you're the best big brother ever." Poof grinned while he gave his god brother a fist pump.

Cosmo carefully wrapped one arm around Timmy with a smirk.

"Her lemon squares may be delicious, but she will never replace the great Timmy Turner! Don't you remember what I told you about Poof? Well, the same goes with Chloe. Just because we have her in our lives now doesn't mean we no longer love you. Besides, your wishes are way more fun, and totally extreme."

Timmy's eyes filled up with tears of joy at his special little family's heartfelt words. "Thanks, guys."

"Yeah, Timmy can kick some serious butt! That icky Vicky better think twice before trying to harm him anymore. I'll bite her again if I have to!" Sparky growled with anger before he felt a very small hand gently rub at his stomach. His current aggression against the evil baby sitter quickly vanished. He lay on Timmy's bed with his tongue out, and kicked one of his back legs in the air with happiness.

"Easy, Sparky. Also, that book doesn't scare me anymore," Poof added, giving Sparky a nice relaxing belly rub.

Cosmo quivered at his son's words. "That book was scary because there were words in it!"

"Dad, all storybooks have words in them. Didn't you write your own once in your spare time?"

"Huh, what do ya mean, Poof?" His father tilted his head to one side.

His son face palmed, groaning at his stupidity. Ugh, how is he ever gonna have smart conversations with me if his brain is no bigger than a jellybean or raisin? Frankly, I'm surprised he even has a brain, since his head is filled with grape jelly.

"Oh, never mind."

"Poof does have a point, Cosmo. Besides, you weren't afraid of the book that Wanda read us one night," Timmy told him.

"You know, the one I believed that I was getting too old for?"

"The cookbook?"

"No, it's the one I read Poof in order to help calm him down after you let him eat eleven pounds of chocolate. Ring a bell?" Wanda reminded her husband with an raised eyebrow.

Cosmo just shrugged his furry green shoulders. "Um, no."

Timmy gave an annoyed sigh before turning his attention to his adorable doggy friend.

"Sparky, please fetch me the fairytales book from my bookshelf so I can show Cosmo what I'm talking about."

Sparky rose to his feet, licked at the little fairy's face, then flew over towards the boy's bookshelf. He grabbed the small pink book with his teeth before he spat it out on the bed. Timmy cringed as he wiped away the dog slobber off the cover before opening it up on the story: The Three Little Fairies.

"Remember this?"

Cosmo took a good look at the book his godson held before finally saying: "Oh, that book! Yeah, I remember. Cosmorella, haha! Good story, Wanda."

"See, Dad? There are words in the book, so all storybooks do have words, therefore I was right. Case closed. Anyway, can you please read us one of the fairytales again?" Poof asked Wanda while he, Cosmo, Sparky, and Timmy gave her the puppy dog eyes.

"Promise me you'll all go to sleep after I do?"

They all nodded, making themselves rather nice and cozy in Timmy's bed. "We promise."

Wanda picked up the fairytales book, and sat down between her precious boys with a smile. "Well, okay then. How about I read Jorgen and the Bean Stalk this time?"

"Ooh, I like that story. Is it about the three little pigs in a blanket, Wand?"

"No, Cosmo. Once again, it's a cookbook recipe. Anyway, Once upon a time, there was a fairy named Jorgen..."

When the fairy tale was over and all four boys were sound asleep, she kissed them good night, and turned off the light. She pulled the blanket closer towards their bodies, keeping them all nice and warm. Just before she too could fall asleep, Wanda then heard Timmy say something within the darkness shortly after. Well, so much for promising he would sleep after the story was done.

"Wanda, can I ask you something?"

"What is it, sport?"

"Um, I know you're just my godparents, but will it be okay if I call you and Cosmo mom and dad sometimes? Just because you both act like my real parents. After all, you've always understood how I truly felt, was there whenever I had a nightmare, and knew how to cheer me up when I'm sad."

Wanda felt her heart pounding hard against her chest, happy tears slid down her face before she hugged her godson tightly. Since the day she and her husband were assigned to Timmy, they have grown to love him like another son. So hearing him wanna call them mom and dad instead of just by their own given names really tugged at the heartstrings, and certainly made her one of the happiest fairies alive.

"Absolutely. I love you, Son. I always have and I always will. Cross my heart."

"I love you too, Mama Wanda. Good night," Timmy whispered before he fell into a deep peaceful slumber while in the comfort of his godmother's safe loving arms. Knowing his fairy family would always protect him and be by his side no matter what.

For quite some time now long before and even after their son was born, Wanda knew that Timmy had always secretly thought of her and Cosmo as his real parents. Especially after they finally discovered the true reason why Timmy made his secret wish.

"Good night, Timmy. May your dreams be filled with plenty of love, not fear. We will always be there to wipe away your tears."

AN: *sniffs* Dang, I believe this is like the most fluffy and rather heartfelt FOP one shot I've ever written. Timmy actually wanting to call Cosmo and Wanda mom and dad is just the sweetest thing in the whole world. I definitely see them more as his real parents then Mr. and Mrs. Turner since they were way more caring and loving towards him then they ever were.

Fun fact: Poof asking Cosmo if he had written a book in his spare time is actually a reference from 77 Secrets of The Fairly OddParents Revealed!

Anyway, hope you all enjoyed it, my fellow fans. So long for now! :)
