Heya~! I'm back and since I've gotten obsessed with Haikyuu, I've decided to make a KAGEHINA story. This is literally one of my favorite ships ever and I couldn't help, but write a story about it. By the way, I made the story in Kageyama's POV, so I might not do well as him. Anyways, to thy story!
"Kageyama!"
That familiar voice rung through the air as everything went into slow motion.
That voice could only belong to one particular short boy.
Shoyo Hinata.
Hinata sped across the court as the ball was in the air, heading towards me.
I lift my hands up into a setting position, ready to feel the ball fall into my hands with ease.
My heart pounds against my chest as I glance for a moment at Hinata. Hinata's already in the air, looking at me, and waiting for the ball to hit his hand.
I wanted to stare at him forever, just so I could see the bright look in his eyes, and the adorable smile he always wears. But I have to look away. I have to or Hinata wouldn't be smiling as much anymore.
My eyes gaze back over to the ball, which was even closer to my hands now.
The ball finally, after for what it seems like forever, falls into my hands for only a couple seconds before going back into the air.
As soon as the ball was in the air, my gaze turned back to Hinata.
Hinata's eyes had a spark in them, causing a flare to rise in my chest. His smile spread across his cute, childish like features, making my heart beat even faster.
It all went back to normal speed when Hinata's hand spiked the ball. The ball hit the floor in the corner of the court and bounced off the back wall before rolling to a stop.
Everything was quiet for just a moment...
During that long moment, I stared at Hinata with a smile on my face. My smile only lasted a few seconds though.
It was only times like these that made me smile. Nothing else could do that; only Hinata.
The moment faded and everyone in the gym cheered and yelled, especially Hinata.
I sigh in relief as I walk over to the shorter boy, who was smiling like an idiot like usual. Not that I minded it.
Hinata instantly noticed me and waved."Did you see it? Did you see it?"
My heart started beating faster again. His childlike nature was too adorable to resist.
"Yeah, I did," I reply and run a hand through my dark, wet hair."Good job, Shoyo."
I covered my mouth the instant I said that. I feel my face instantly heat up and turn red.
Welp, I'm done for now! I still have a LOT more planned to write, but I'll save it for next chapter~. Anyways, see ya!
