Chapter 1: Nightmare
"I….NO…STOP!!!!" they linger in my mind… they haunt me…Monsters, monsters, MONTERS!!! She looks at me with a disappointed face… she asks me every time I see her… "Why… why father… WHY DID YOU KILL ME!!!" she kneels down, a hole appearing in her neck blood flows down from it, she smiles insanely at me, then lies in the ground lifeless... I knelt down, held her dead body… and tried to cry… but couldn't. I looked in front of me…I looked at the Accretian that killed my daughter…And I saw the others...the… THE ACCRETIAN MONSTERS!!! Their body, made of metal and weapons are attached at every part of their body… their single eye, glowed with delight as they saw their metal body and weapons stained with blood…The Accretian that killed my daughter had metallic horns in its head, its eyes red… its armor… white… but was full of red stains… blood stains…its right arm was covered with a cloth… and its eyes were different from the rest… I didn't know why.
I looked behind and saw all of my friends, family, and everyone dear to me… killed … I lay down my daughter and took my lance beside me… The monsters aimed their guns at me… Their missile launchers… locked on…. Their swords… pointed at me… I took my last breath, aimed my lance at them… and shouted… for the pride of my race… the Corites and for my god… DECEM… As I charged in, a bullet hit my leg and I tripped down. I stood up, I felt the heat of the lasers pass through me and the pain of the bullets hitting and making a hole in my stomach… I coughed blood… but I still took my lance and charged head on at the metal monsters… I jumped, and cut off the head of the monster with the thickest body, with the most weapons, and the fiercest looking monster among all off them…
I guessed but quite sure that the one I slain was the leader of the group … I looked behind, and I recognized the head… it was Lothan the 3rd…their hero… I KILLED THEIR HERO!!! I closed my eyes filled with pride and happiness… I had no regrets… but suddenly…. I didn't feel anything … I don't feel pain, I don't feel happiness, I don't feel…. Nothing… nothing at all…I opened my eyes once more and saw a gun in my hand, pointing somewhere. I looked closely and I saw a child holding a flower… She smiled at me… It was my daughter, Kaila… I wanted to put the gun down, but I couldn't, it was like my body is moving in its own will… I panicked, I tried to move anything in my body, but it was useless… I shouted her name, but she didn't hear me… and slowly, my finger pulls the trigger of the gun... She ran towards me… with her innocent face filled with happiness… "no… please… Kaila… get away…. I don't want to…" my vision blacked…. I only heard a gunshot. After a while… my vision came back… I saw the dead body of my daughter… but someone was holding her… a fellow Corite… no… its… ME… I saw a teardrop flow down from her eyes…I…. killed… my daughter? Then suddenly, I remembered everything…. Everything that had happened…
