Naruto looked at his teammates, and sensei. Then to the first one who adknowledged him, Iruka. They were smiling, or smirking in his rival's case. He waved.
The 3rd Hokage, Sarutobi, had just passed away. It was so sad, and one main question hit them all.
Why did the Sandaime Hokage have (or need) to die?
They were told that the Hokage, the highest and most noble rank of ninja, must protect their village, or land, no matter what. Even if he (or she) must die doing so.
Naruto ran toward his team, with a grin.
---(Naruto's POV)
'Why did the old man have to die?' I thought.
Konohamaru was crying, Iruka-sensei comforting the boy, who had just lost his grandfather.
"Why did the Hokage have (or need) to die?" I whispered.
Iruka looked at me sadly, and said,"It is the Kage's duty. They must protect their land, even if they have to pass away."
'Kage's duty...' I thought.
"The Sandaime had to protect us. The ones that are precious to him...The whole village..." Iruka continued.
Konohamaru stopped crying for a moment. As if to think...
"The whole village and everyone in it is precious to me..."
More tears, rain. Darkness.

His own student killed him, that student, Orochimaru, killed his sensei, the Sandaime Hokage.
Even if he is a legendary sennin, his own sensei?
That man, that snake, is pure. Pure evil.
Orochimaru gets what he wants. No matter what. He left Konoha, betrayed it, and came back for Sasuke, destroyed much of Konoha no Sato, and killed the Sandaime.
Pure evil, the man has no regret in killing... Anyone...
---(Iruka's POV)
'Hokage-sama, may you rest in peace... And we will take of Konohamaru...' I thought.
I remember what the Sandaime told me years ago.
"You want to be known, you want attention, because you think you are alone. But you are not, you have many people around, precious to you..."
---(No One's POV)
This was hard on everyone. So crying tears, some were asking 'why', and some were...
Crying silent tears, invisible ones.
Even if the rain hides it, we all know that almost everyone in Konoha or has been in contact with him, has a connection, one that is shattered, broken, or one, that will stay... Forever ...
---(Konohamaru's POV)
'Old man... Grandfather...Why?' I thought.
"Why did the Hokage have (or need) to die?" Naruto asked.

The rain had stopped a while ago. As if to... Start over, live again, refresh the life in us.
Naruto smiled.
A new beginning.
For all of us.
It seems... We haven't been broken... Not yet...
New beginnings, are the perfect time now...

Yeah, yeah, flame me, but reviews are good. I mainly typed down what I thought they thought. Yes, pretty sad. Banner inspiration, even if it is my own banner... This was really sad to type, it makes me not wanna see the Hokage's funeral ever again... In english or not...
