'In My Heart'
In beauty and glory
Her cinnamon mane trailed
Over boil and bubble
Her only fear was to have failed
Her tresses were thick
Her hand was tried
But her deep brown eyes
Are what I admired
Now she has gone
A beauty so fair
Having stolen my heart
In her joy, ease and care
She was one of three
But alone was I
Now they have gone
My heart bursts to cry
Never again
Shall her beauty grace
What is cold and ugly
This desolate place
The dungeons are cold
Her laughter faded
And as a waterfall
My tears cascaded.
For it was naught
But love I felt
And in my heart
The love forever dwelt.
