Shadow the Hedgehog was training in his yard with the chaotix. Espio the Chameleon was doing the course with him, and Charmy the bee was coaching him. they jumped over obstacles, dodged large blades, and fought each other. Shadow usually won these these battles because he was slightly faster. after a hour of practicing he want to Amy's condo, covered in bumps, bruises and a bloody nose. He new that Amy had some bandages, when he got there, he was greeted by Amy's Chao Fluffy, he moved it aside and went looking for Amy. When he found her she was horrified at his appearance, she screamed "OH SHADOW WHAT HAPPENED" "it was just training Amy, I need to barrow some bandages" shadow said "well alright" Amy said carefully applying the bandages to his injuries. After this, he went to Amy's guest room which is where he was staying for the last few months. After Sonic had refused Amy's love, so she had started loving Shadow and Shadow accepted it because he desperately wanted a girlfriend, ever since, Shadow had lived in her condo. At around 8:00 AM Shadow woke up, and went downstairs to have breakfast. Amy had made waffles, which shadow loved, "this is really good" Shadow said to Amy with his mouth full "thanks Shadow :)" Amy said smiling. After he finished his waffles he decided to go for a morning run "I'm going for a run" he said "alright" Amy replied. Shadow then went out the door and got in his running stance, then a large blue blur ran up next to him "What do you want" Shadow said "just on a morning run faker" Sonic replied "YOUR the faker" "faker" "faker "faker" "faker" the two hedgehogs continued this argument for a few minutes before Amy stopped them "why are you two fighting just run already" the two hedgehogs agreed on this and ran away from each other. Shadow decided to run to Tails's house to see if he had a light shoe upgrade. When he got there Tails was in his workshop, Shadow then walked up to him and asked if he had any upgrades for his light shoes. As it happens Tails had a upgrade that let shadow walk on water. Shadow took off his light shoes and gave then to Tails who then upgraded them. His new shoes now had a switch on the back, "flip the switch and you can ride the waves"Tails explained "alright shadow replied. He thought he would impress Sonic with them. He started running over to the lake to test his shoes, when he got there he did a flip into the pond, halfway into the air he hit the switch, and his shoes started to glow and when he hit the water he started to float. And surfed along the lake. After he new that thew worked he continued to run to Sonics house. Not so long ago in a space colony ARK, a particular black hedgehog with spines tipped with blue was waking from a glass capsule in a secret science lab. His red eyes glowed as he punched through the glass, "MY GOD OOOOOW MY EYES AHHHH WHY DID I DO THAT"after he brushed the glass out of his eyes leaving some very nasty cuts. when he finally stood up he saw a floating screen where a large man with a mustache was saying "Mephiles if your watching this that means you have awoken, use the escape pod on deck 5 if you want to go to earth, if you do go to earth, pleas so not harm Shadow the Hedgehog, goodbye" "Mephiles...Mephiles the Dark. I like that" Mephiles thought, he then got out of the capsule and careful not to step on any glass, went to the escape pod. - What will Mephiles do when he gets to Earth. What will Sonic and Shadow do. All of these questions answered in the next chapter.
