Brendon woke up slightly scared at first, but then he remembered where he was. He had spent the night at Ryan's, watching all the old movies he hates, but Ryan loves them so he'll tolerate them just to see Ryan grinning like a little child. Brendon peeked his head over the cheap duvet and saw Ryan still face down on the sofa opposite him, one half of his lanky body hanging off the settee. His duvet only just covered him up, although Brendon wished it didn't cause Ry looked good in just his boxers.
Ryan was Brendon's best friend. He cherished each moment he spent with Ry, more so than he would with anyone else. Brendon thought about waking him up in some cruel way that will result in Brendon having a laughing fit at Ryan being pissed off, but he couldn't bring himself to interrupt the little snores that came with Ryan's soft sleep. Instead, Brendon got up, tousled his (badly-in-need-of-a-cut) hair and attempted to climb over Ryan to cuddle up behind him. Just as he lifted his leg to step over Ryan's waist onto the remaining space on the sofa behind him, Ryan's eyes snapped open and he quickly rolled on his side, and evidently off the sofa, taking Brendon down with him. That seemed to wake Ryan up. Once they had finished untangling themselves from the duvet and their giggles had died down, they both sat cross-legged next to each other in silence, until Ryan broke it.
'Can I ask Bren,' he turned so he and Brendon were facing each other, 'what the hell were you trying to do? Like before I accidentally body slammed you into the carpet.'
A grin spread across Ryan's face, which then caught onto Brendon, but then he put on a pouty face.
'I wanted to cuddle.'
Ryan laughed at his adorable facial expression.
'Well we can cuddle now.'
He gave Brendon no chance to reply before he literally leaped onto him, wrapping his arms tightly round his neck, throwing him back onto the floor. They lied face-to-face on the rough carpet, giving small kisses between giggles.
'I love you Ryan.' said Brendon, pulling him in tight for a long, sweet kiss.
'I love you too Brendon.'
