Hermione and Ginny at the book exchange.
Hey, this situation is real. I just decided to write it to this character set. The characters are not mine, but the situation is. Fem-slash warning, if you don't like, don't read.
Ginny couldn't help but look at her. She couldn't help but sneak peeks at her over the top of her book. She couldn't help but melt for her every time she saw her wrinkle her nose at whatever book she was looking at. God did she lover her.
They had been in love for a couple years now, ever since Hermione's final year at Hogwarts. After the graduation ceremony on the final day of the term while saying their goodbyes Ginny had led Hermione down to the lake and had confessed her eternal longing and desire for the older girl. She had poured out her heart to the older girl and when she thought that Hermione would walk out of her life for all eternity, she walked over to her, picked her up off the ground, and kissed her. The two had been inseparable ever since. Ginny had finished her final year, while Hermione went and worked at the ministry. When Ginny graduated the next year she moved into the small London flat Hermione had rented, and they began their life together.
One of the things the two young women had found they loved to do together was to go to the local muggle book exchange. They would spend hours looking at the simple and mundane books; they would pick out a few each and then go for tea at a nice little shop a couple of block away.
Ginny quickly and pointlessly looked back to the pages she was flipping to avoid letting Hermione in on the plainly obvious fact that she had been staring at the older woman for the last ten minutes. While she was staring intently at some random page she heard a small giggle just on the other side of her book. Lowering the book she looking into the large brown eyes that she got lost in, on a daily basis.
"You know, I hear these things are easer to read if you have the right way up."
Ginny looked sheepishly at her love. She had been caught; the book she was holding was up side down.
Gathering up her books Hermione grabbed Ginny's hand and pulled her to the cashier, and after paying for her books, they exited the exchange. While passing a sporting good store, the pair walked by a young man with long golden hair. He looked at them with their arms wrapped around each other, holding each other close in the cool winter afternoon. He glanced at them and nodded in greeting.
The two love enthralled women, continued to walk down the street, to the tea shop, holding each other close. They needing nothing or no one else in this world, they had each other, they had magic, and they had love.
Just a little one shot to test out my new muse. R&R please.
