The Wedding
The day of the wedding dawned crystal bright and warm, perfect for an outdoor ceremony. Jordan woke early to get ready. Donnie had spent the night at Lennie's to get ready. Anita, Jordan's Lieutenant had kicked him out of the house on the basis of bad luck. One of his detectives was there, Olivia Benson, as well as Alex Cabot, Clair Kincaid, Abbie Carmichael, and Serena Southerland. It was a girl party. Little did they know, similar events were going on in Lennie's house.
Jordan pulled out her dress from the bag. It was very simple, white with a sheer over shift and small beads. It set of her tanned skin nicely. Serena did her hair for her, making it gloss from repeated strokes. When it was smooth, she did a French braid with small tendrils hanging down to be curled later. She also wove in baby's breath and daisies. Abbie too over with make up as Jasmine curled the last tendrils. It was sprayed to keep it in place.
They were all piled into the limo waiting for a moment because Jordan wanted to speak to them.
"I just wanted to say thank you to everyone. You've made today much easier than it would have been. All of you are my family and I'm so happy you could be here with me."
"Your welcome honey, but don't cry, you'll ruin your make up." Claire said to lighten the mood.
Donnie and Jordan had decided to walk up the aisle together. Lennie and Anita went first as maid of honor and best man, followed by Claire and Jack, then Mike and Abbie. Those six would be standing with the couple. Alex and John Munch would be next, followed by Olivia and Fin, George and Casey on Donnie's side, and Ed and Serena and Skoda and Olivet on Jordan's side. There were various other people from Donnie's squad were spread around , as well as some from Jordan's. Everyone was wearing his or her dress uniforms except Jordan herself . All the lawyers and ME's were in their best dresses and suits.
Jordan and Donnie were married on June 6, 2005, the creation of their new family was complete.
