Bunny woke to an annoying beeping in his ear and a dull ache in his stomach cracking his eyes open forest eyes tried to look around making out his glasses on a table and grabbed them and put them where they belonged and scanned the room
he was laying in a hospital bed in a white hospital gown the blood and grime that coated his face was gone he noticed some balloons and a couple stuffed animals on the table
Kotetsu was sleeping in a chair by his bed his hat falling comically over his face but before he could take in more of the sleeping NEXTs appearance a soft noise came from his other side turning his head he saw a hospital crib with a cooing infant inside
where had the baby come from ? and why was it in his room ?
his nickname being called made him turn his head back to Kostetsu the NEXTs face showed relief and he walked to the other side of the bed and lifted the baby from its bed a grumpy whine being lifted from the pink bundle before Barnaby found himself with an arm full of baby
a million questions raced through him as he looked at the babe too shocked to say anything or refuse to hold it
the baby had a patch of dark fuzz on its head and forest green eyes perfect copies of his own stared up at him with curiosity before reaching up with a chubby pink hand towards his face weither for a loose strand of hair or his glasses he was not sure before deciding she was tired and snuggled warmly into him and fell asleep
green eyes that where covered by glasses darted up from the soft bundle and up to the softly smiling hero next to him and finally found his voice to ask questions
