Authors Note:
Hello! I am Jonas and this is my first ever fan fiction so please forgive me if my writing is not up to par with standards. This is a Percy Jackson betrayal story where he turns into an evil bad ass. Pertemis (sorry its my favorite pairing). Hope you guys enjoy this! I intend to update frequently and I'll try to make it more original than most Pertemis stories. Disclaimer: I do not own PJO or HOO, Rick Riordan does. I mean unless he wants to give me ownership which I'd be okay with!

Chapter 1: Proposal

What hurts more, betrayal or loss? Well for Perseus Jackson, Son of The Sea God and Sally Jackson, it seemed as if he would never have to experience betrayal, but what he didn't know is that he couldn't have been more wrong. Percy approached the temple of Athena to ask for her daughters hand in marriage. Surprisingly, Athena immediately granted him permission to do so and even a ring. He made his way back to Camp Half-Blood using a new trick he learned, vapor travel. He saw Annabeth on the beach waiting for him to join her. She looked beautiful to him, her blond hair sparkling from the light of the slowly setting sun, and blowing slightly in the wind. 'She looks like a goddess' he thought.

He approached her slowly wanting to surprise her. He sat beside her suddenly, startling her.

"Geez Seaweed Brain, you didn't have to sneak up on me ya know!" She joked

"Where's the fun in that, Wise Girl?" He joked back. The two had their picnic date as the sun set, laughing and joking and kissing. Finally, Perseus worked up the courage to pop the question.

Percy's POV

I finally worked up the courage to ask her the question right before the date was over. The sun was set and the moon glowed brightly in the night sky. I silently thanked Artemis for helping me by making it beautiful out. She may not like me, but at least she cares a little and hasn't turned me into a jackalope. Wait I'm getting off topic, stupid ADHD. I thought to myself

I suddenly got onto one knee and just said "uh, Wise Girl? You make me the happiest man on this planet, and I was wondering if maybe you'd like to marry me?"

She gasped but managed to choke out a single word...

Well guys? Let me know what you think so far, and sorry it's so short, I wanted to leave it on a cliff hanger. What do you think is gonna happen? Why was Athena so nice? Keep reading to find out!
