Author's Note: There are no fanfics in this fandom with lesbian pairings as far as I know. This was written to fix that.
Was it wrong to have a crush on someone who just now had broken up with her boyfriend? Scarlett didn't know the answer but she felt like it was nice. Still, as her eyes swept over Holly sprawled over Scarlett's bed, she couldn't help the gladness that came to her after hearing that Jamie and Holly's relationship hadn't worked out.
Scarlett laid down next to Holly and brushed her blonde hair away from her face. "Do you need to talk about it?" Scarlett resisted the urge to tell Holly how pretty she was.
"Scarly, is it bad that I'm already in love with someone else?" Holly whispered, clutching the other girl's hand. Scarlett gulped, trying not to scream with joy at how close they were.
"Was that why you two broke up?" A flicker of hope arose in Scarlett as Holly nodded. " What's their name?"
Holly sighed. " I might as well get it out of the way. Scarlett, I love you."
Great now Scarlett had to plan her funeral because she had just died of shock.
" Could you repeat that please?" Scarlett had to be going crazy. There was no way this was happening.
"I, Holly," Holly pointed to herself, " am in love with you, Scarlett Adams."
There was a brief moment of silence before Scarlett shouted, "YES" and pulled Holly into a kiss.
Holly met up with Jamie later that day. The two were still on good terms despite the break up and Jamie was interested in how the morning's events panned out.
" What did Scarlett say? You did tell her, right?"
Holly smiled. " She said yes."
"She has good taste."
Holly laughed at Jamie's response. " Now we just have to find you a new girlfriend."
"Or boyfriend." Jamie pointed out.
