Pairing: Oz x Alice
Yes… I know it's too short…
You don't need words for love
She traced her fingers across the intricately carved pocket watch, studying every aspect and contour. She flipped the cover open; the intoxicating refrain was magical to her ears. The surroundings were soon oblivious to her. The tuneful melody enchanting her… There was nothing that could pull her out of her trance; her crimson orbs slowly turned blank… They no longer held emotions in them…
Alice…
Alice?
ALICE!
Her eyes returned back to life, as she stared at Oz; from his distinguished platinum blonde hair, to his emerald eyes, to his hands that were clinging onto her shoulder, furiously shaking her.
Snapping back to her senses, tears outlined the bottom of her eyes, slowly making tracks down her pallid cheeks. Alice, with hands quivering, seized Oz into an embrace, leaving him stunned while his hands slumped to his sides and the Chain soaked his shirt with her saline tears.
"What happened?"
"I-I don't know … I can't remember…"
Apparently, Alice had remembered a small part of her memory. But for some reason, she could not evoke it… She continued sniveling for 10 whole minutes. Her tears seemed to flow perpetually.
Oz had always reviled to see Alice cry. He wanted to leave her alone and let her bawl her heart out… But he knew that it was unfeasible…
Regaining his senses, the Contractor slowly raised his hands to Alice's shoulder, hesitated, and finally pulled her closer to his warm chest.
Alice's eyes opened abruptly. She tilted her head, only to find her contractor staring at her lovingly, gaping at her cherry lips.
In one swift movement, Oz made their lips met for the first time. Alice gasped and glanced at him. His emerald orbs were sealed. She pounded Oz on his back for the sudden lip lock. He didn't budge. Knowing that she was on the losing side, her beatings grew slower and softer, until she finally gave in.
Her hands interlaced in his golden hair. His hands kept the hug on her waist.
Oz reluctantly pulled back, afraid that someone would notice them. He teasingly poked her forehead.
Alice pouted and cried out "baka" while rubbing her sore forehead.
With that, they stitched their eyebrows together, closed their eyes and giggled through sealed lips. Love had no need for words…
