Soul Society...
Soul Society hadn't changed much in the past years. It was the same a always. And yet, everyone could feel...the winds of change. Something was about to happen, and they knew it.
Now, the one thing that did change, was some of the technology. Kurotuchi Mayuri, one of the Taichous of Sereitei, had been working on some machines that would be able to tell if one was related to another of the shinigami's. It would come in handy, once it was finished. But it was a long way off.
What Kurotsuchi didn't know, was that it would indeed become useful, for the new arrivals. Three to be exact. Three wandering souls, each bound tightly to each other and yet, each separated by the walls of the Rukongai. All except for one.
Hitsugaya Toushiro would soon find himself carrying the burden of a child, a nameless baby soul reaper. What he would do was beyond him. But he would find out, that he was related more to this child, than he would ever have imagined...
