You have to read 'Lungbarrow' to understand the start! The TARDIS crashes somewhere and the Doctor is taken prisoner by a mysterious green-eyed Time Lord. Can he stop the universe from being disintegrated or is he doomed?

1. Introduction

The TARDIS flew gracefully through the Time Vortex as it always does, with the Doctor pressing buttons, switches and random gizmos. But this doctor was different

He had short, black hair, brown eyes and his face was peppered with freckles. He wore a rustic black coat, with a red tie and a white, textured shirt.

This was the first Doctor in a parallel universe. It is not the universe we are in now, nor is it the one where the 10th Doctor battled Cybermen and John Lumic, for this one is known not to have any history with the Doctor from our universe. His universe has one difference to ours; that The Doctor was illegally womb-born on Gallifrey.

most Time Lords were born in a machine called a loom so The Parallel Doctor's parents were found, tried and executed when he was 5.

This made him a stronger person so he travelled alone and stole his TARDIS earlier than the Doctor in our universe.
