Author's note – This story is basically changes all the books. I'm not trying to "outdo" JK, so calm down. I just started thinking one day: What if Dudley was treated like Harry and Harry treated like Dudley? We all know Harry has a little bit of "evil" inside of him and he just needed that little nudge at the beginning to turn him into a criminal mastermind. I give him an almighty shove in that direction. My chapters can be quite short since I know a lot of you have a short attention span. That and I can't think of anything else to write. Snaps to Leisha for the inspiration. Please Review.

Another Authors Note: Harry is treated well by the Dursleys, Dudley- bad. Got it?

Harry Potter glanced lazily at the primates in the zoo. The place was boring, in his opinion. He would have stayed home if it weren't for the snakes.

He turned around and looked from behind his glasses. Aunt Petunia was craning her neck to see the tops of trees where birds and spider monkeys were found. Uncle Vernon was watching two baboons with a red face. And Dudley was staring glumly at a miserable looking orang-utan.

Harry turned back to face an ape scratching itself with a stick. His hunger to visit the snakes increased. Ditching the Dursleys, he wandered off in the direction of the reptile house.

He stepped into the large warm room and immediately felt content. He walked over to a large Australian Dugite and watched it happily. Snakes – Harry thought – are a lot like me. They have dignity. The snake eyed Harry then slowly raised its head. Harry looked smugly around the room and noticed most of the snakes had done the same.

Harry walked superiorly past the lizards and up to the great sleeping Brazilian boa. He stood watching the slumbering snake, his fingers twitching and body tingling. The Boa opened one eye, and then closed it again, as if feigning sleep.

Harry smiled at the thought of how alike he and the snake were. We are both alone in the world, which makes us different…stronger than others…Harry Potter was right; he was different and certainly a lot stronger than an average person, but sadly chose to be alone. Harry Potter was a wizard.

The snake raised its scaly head and moved towards Harry. He and the Brazilian Boa were now eye level. Harry was so close he was sure his breathe would fog the glass, but the glass had vanished.

Harry felt someone tap his shoulder; he whipped around, ready to defend himself.

"I didn't do it, I…" Harry began. He stopped when he realised it was just Dudley. "Oh, it's you"

"Mum and Dad were worried, you…" Dudley's face grew white.

"What?" Harry demanded.

Dudley merely whimpered and pointed. Harry turned around to find the Brazilian Boa sliding out of it's enclosure and onto the stone floor. There were screams and shouts from all around him. Harry smiled, pleased that he was the only one that wasn't afraid.

Uncle Vernon ushered everyone into the car. After boxing Dudley's ears for walking too slow, he scrambled into the car himself and sped off. Harry sat smugly in the back seat next to his porky cousin. He leant forward and hissed into a pale Dudley's ear.

"If you tell anyone about the snake I'm bringing home, I'll put it in your bed while your asleep."
