The Odd Companion

The TARDIS fell through time and space.
Inside the TARDIS, The Ponds were heading home to Earth for a holiday. They had just arrived in the system when the Doctor ran in and said, "Erm. Ponds I'm going to just going to do the final preparation."
"What are these stupid 'Preparations' anyway?" said Amelia "You're talking as if there's something dangerous in the Solar System."
"We ARE about to go through the wrecked asteroid belt of the Long Lost Home planet of the Cybermen, Mondas." The Doctor said.
"The Tenth Planet," murmured Rory.
"Exactly that Rory now let me get on with the safety procedures." the Last of the Time Lords snapped . In 5 minutes the Doctor switched the last switch. But as soon as he pressed it the TARDIS screeched and out of the console came a lot of smoke. Then it landed. The crew stepped out into a Top-secret Prison on the wrecked Moon of Mondas.
Then the crew advanced to a small chamber that was in sight.
"You'd better stay outside." The Doctor said to his two helpers. The Last of the Time Lords strolled into the dark room.
Amy and Rory, left outside, felt a little scared that the Doctor might not return.
Inside the chamber, a blue light slashed into view. "I'm the Doctor, who are you?" asked the Time Lord. "The Doctor?" croaked the blue light.
"Oh," said the Doctor with terrible calm.
"I have been in hibernation. I need help," said the light.
"Then you're going to EXTERMINATE me?" asked the Last of the Time Lords.
"Yes. You are the Enemy of the Daleks!" answered the light that inhabited the Dome. Suddenly the lights turned on and the Doctor was confronted with a bronze death machine (e.g. Dalek). The Dalek advanced out of the Chamber. It saw the Doctors two helpers. Amelia Pond immediately started to say, "Doctor let's get out of here, that's a…"
"Yes Amy. I'm afraid so." The Doctor sighed eerily.
"But I thought those types were destroyed by this 'New Dalek Paradigm'." Amy said.
"WHO ARE THEY? WHERE IS THE EMPEROR? EXPLAIN OR BE EXTERMINATED!" barked the Kaleds Genocide Mutant.
"The Supreme, Strategist, Scientist, Eternal and Drone," explained the Last of the Time Lords. "According to scanners these Daleks do not exist," said the bronze machine from the heights of 'superior knowledge'.
"Your design is out of date," argued the one who the Daleks call The Oncoming Storm.
"How dare YOU!" cried the agitated Dalek. Then pushed through the open door of the TARDIS.
Then a strange thing happened. Inexplicably the Heart of the TARDIS opened and so did the Dalek's casing. The Dalek stared speechless into the Time Machine's Soul. "Doctor… Help me…" It said as it held out a sickened tentacle. "I am dying." The Doctor took the sorry Dalek into his hands.
"I will help you. I will also give you the title of "The Only Good Dalek" and I will call you Cromwell."
And off they go. The Doctor, Amy, Rory and Cromwell *, gliding into Adventure. Look out for the next one… Now!
