Well, I have written a Harry Potter… go figure. Not JK Rowling.

"Evans has no interest in you. That, if nothing else I am sure of." Moony commented before taking another bite of his hotdog.

"Didn't you see the way her eyes lighted up when she saw me?" Prongs commented, using his own dog to point at Moony.

"Then she sneezed." Moony retorted.

They continued to walk down the aisle created by the muggle tents at the muggle fair. Their obvious ignorance to muggle styles was shown by the fact that James was wearing a tie and a cow boy hat, the others were similarly dressed. Sirius was the only one that looked like he had any idea, but that was more likely because we insisted on wearing his leather jacket over his tie-die shirt and jeans. Remus had a simple white button up, though muggle looking; it was out of place amongst the t-shirts and jeans that all the muggles were wearing.

"Hey look, one of those fortune tellers! We should get our futures told!" Prongs laughed.

"Why not?" Padfoot replied.

"Are you two serious?" Mooney asked, when both nodded he surrendered, "Why not."

The three fourth-years walked into the tent and paid the required three-pounds before sitting down.

"I am Madam-Arcadia" The older woman stated in an 'other-worldly' voice noticing the three boys snickering. Ignoring it she looked into her crystal ball.

Continuing the 'other-worldly' atmosphere she began, "Interesting lives you will have… Two will have sons, though the third is the one to survive to raise one, then the raised one will raise the second."

The boys all raised their eyebrows at each other.

"Two will marry; one long before the other, another will be innocently convicted and in prison, when the third marries, the other two will not be there." She stared even more deeply into the ball, "Whether it is by death or another, I am not sure. But the two married will know love, the third, fatherhood. They are not long in any of the cases." She looked up from the ball and into each of their eyes, "You will all die young, one younger than the others though, and don't trust the one that's not here. That's all."

"So you saw the grim mum?" Padfoot asked, chuckling.

"Many times, dark days lie ahead."

"Don't they all?" Mooney asked as they left the tent, as soon as the tent flapped they all burst into laughter.

"I wonder which of us is going to have kids!" Prongs laughed between breaths.

"And which one is in prison!" Padfoot laughed, "With any luck that'd be me!"

"But then that means I get married!" Mooney burst, causing all of them to laugh again.

It took several moments for them to calm down enough to catch their breath and begin walking again, tears still being wiped from their eyes.

"Lets head home, James' mum is making pudding for dinner." Padfoot said before running up the hill, "Last one there is a rotten egg!"
