Kapson's voice rang out through the throne room, high and elegant.

"Do you, Princess Mipha of Zora's Domain and next rightful heir to the throne of the Zoras, take Link to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I-I do..." Mipha's voice returned, shaky with the usual nerves.

"Do you, Link of Castle Town, Hero of Hyrule, holder of the Master Sword and Champion take Mipha to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do."

"Then I pronounce you husband and wife, as well as Duke and Duchess of Zora's Domain. You may now kiss the bride."

Flashback

"Holy crap this is a stupid idea..." Link muttered to himself, enclosing the diamond ring he had purchased in Gerudo Town inside a clam shell. Before the Great Calamity, Kodah had been picked as the Champion of the Zora, leaving Mipha to await the return of Link herself. He turned to Sidon anxiously, looking for any form of encouragement from the most encouraging person in Hyrule, to find a blank face. A friend-zoned face.

"Look Sidon, it's taken a century. Please just... lighten up? It may not even work..."

He shivered a little.

"I hope it does."

And with that, he swung open the door and dropped to one knee.

End of flashback

"... Link? You alright?" Mipha stirred him from his daze, as she leant up to kiss him.

"Yes..." His voice was barely audible as he leant in, sweeping her off of her feet as they met lips. And at that moment, even Sidon was clapping.
