Darrel looked in the mirror and gazed at herself, she was wearing a simple blouse and skirt with a casual light jacket. Her brown hair was done up in a bun. Darrel suddenly felt sad; all that time ago she had been an excited eleven year old, ready for all those years at Malory Towers. She could hardly believe all these years had gone so fast. Her heart gave an excited leap as she thought of all her school friends she would see again soon, she had kept close contact with Sally Hope but she would see Alicia, Irene, Belinda, Clarissa, Bill and even Gwendoline. Mary-Lou had organized it. Darrel picked up the letter from the side and read through it again,

Dear Darrel,

I am writing to you and all the other girls from Malory Towers, I thought it would be fantastic to all see each other again! I've spoken to the school and they said we could come down for a weekend to Cornwall and we can stay in one of the empty dormitories.

We will all get the 11o'clock train down on Friday. Hopefully see you all then!

All my love,

Mary-Lou

Darrel picked up her case, smiling and hurried outside where her husband was waiting in the car to drive her to the station.
