Summary: Hokuoh's stressed about a dance coming up. There's this girl he really wants to ask out, but he's too afraid of rejection. And if he thought that was enough, there's a power threatning to destroy the world! How can Hokuoh manage asking the girl of his dreams out, and save the world?

Chapter One,
Bad News
The day was perfect. The sun was shining, the birds were flying about merrily, and everyone was enjoying the weather. Except for one.
Hokuoh sat on a hill, looking around at the ground. He had no clue where his friends were, and seriously didn't care. Right now, he was worried about something else.
It had been the talk of the school, and everyone was totally excited. Sure, a dance was a good change to his regular, boring school, but the thought of asking a girl out concerned him. Of course, he knew who he wanted to ask out, but what if she said no?
He sighed and looked over at that "special someone" he liked. Her hair was long and purple; today in a ponytail. She had a dark, almost purple, blue color of eyes. She sat, surrounded by friends, her skirt spread out around her. Her name was Celeste Mya.
Yes, his favorite girl Celeste.
"I'm an idiot if I expect her to go with me," he said uncomfortably, looking away. His blue eyes were sad, which didn't happen often.
He watched as Celeste and her friends laughed, her hair flowing in the breeze. He was glad no one saw him staring at her so.
Then, Celeste's laugh faded away, and Hokuoh felt himself falling into darkness.
A/N: I know, short chapter. Shouri (mentioned at the top of page) will be in an upcoming chapter. I just wanted people to get an idea of what it's about. I promise that next chapter will be MUCH longer and exciting! Don't forget to R&R!
