Dear Miss Granger,
We are sad to inform you that we have found your parents' bodies lying at the bottom of a valley. They were on their home when they fell of the edge. By the time we have arrived, there was nothing that we could do. We are terribly sorry for your loss. We send our deepest condolences.
We have arranged for you to stay at your Aunt Terrie's place for the rest of the summer. She knows about your status and we are allowing you your magic this summer.
However, we have good news to tell you as well. You are the newly appointed Head girl of this year. Congratulations to you! Your timetable will be given to you in school together with her Headboy.
